| Description: | Based in Azerbaijan for a major operator in Oil & Gas Industry
Purpose:
Provide input, guidance and mentoring on all facets of Azeri Regulatory Compliance across the Project organization and by agreement with senior management, co-ordinate compliance monitoring of construction and marine activities through ongoing assurance audits.
Job Role:
Personal commitment to ensuring that the drive to achieve a Safe workplace is achieved through direct involvement with people and practices
Provide assurance to project that all Construction entities on the project are in compliance with relevant Azeri Laws and Regulations concerning permits and licenses to operate.
Take ownership of the responsibility to senior management to monitor and review processes that ensures necessary risk and compliance arrangements are fully in place
Drive project requirements for compliance and improvements through assurance audits, plant and equipment installation reviews and proactive risk elimination with emphasis on regulatory approvals.
Conduct assurance audits of policy
Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience in quality or regulatory affairs for energy related major projects
Experience in planning and execution of external and internal quality audits
Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with cross-functional teams
Good project management skills
Technical Qualification:
Degree in an Engineering or related fields
Lead Auditor Qualification
Be a member of, or working towards membership of a recognised professional body
