| Description: | Major Operator client seeking a Contracts Specialist for 3 - 6 month assignment in Houston TX. West Houston.
The Drilling and Completions SD has initiated a project to transition all our existing global Drilling & Completions contracts to a single repository. In conjunction with this transition, a review will be conducted of all the contracts including all rigs and well services contracts worldwide. The candidate will support review of the contracts and associated information from several perspectives, including risk assessment and comparable analysis against standard BP requirements, recommending any gap closures, identify best practices and process improvement opportunities.
The role requires contract development and management (including compliance and audit) experience and strong analytical and communication skills. Previous experience developing Rigs and Well Services contracts a plus.
Essential
College degree
Over 10 years experience in contract development and management
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Preferred
Law or advance business degree a plus
Experience in the oil/gas exploration and production industry a plus
Experience in development and management of Rigs and Well Services a plus
Experience or knowledge in supply chain risk management a plus |
