Description:Maintenance Analyst required on a Staff basis for Aberdeen based Operator.

The Maintenance Analyst is a key member of the Aberdeen Operations Maintenance Team, accountable for providing strategic direction to North Sea operations on Maintenance Strategies and Industry Best practice.

Specific accountabilities are:

Developing and implementing preservation and maintenance strategies.
Analysis processes and procedures and makes recommendations regarding cost effective process/maintenance improvements.
Ensures maintenance tasks are properly analysed, documented, and resolved satisfactorily and in an appropriate timeframe.
Conduct critical reviews/assessments of systems and processes, carry out Root Cause Analysis.
Proactive input to Production Loss Reporting reviews to minimise maintenance as a cause of loss.
Reviewing, analysing, and modifying the ongoing maintenance (including associated spares) strategy to improve performance, including backlog, productivity, and PM review.
Ensure that spares philosophy is aligned to maintenance strategy.
Carry out critical spares review.
Assurance that all maintenance policies and procedures comply with Group standards and industry, legislative practices.
Review availability modelling and Life Cycle Costing.

With a Degree, or equivalent in a technical discipline you will have a sound knowledge of COP's, SI's and other technical standards / legislation relative to management of a maintenance function. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, along with the ability to analyse problems, assess risk profile, determine action, and develop solutions, communicating intentions and progress to all levels.
