Role and responsibilities for this position:

  • Building strong relationships with specific clients to ensure Petroplan is their recruitment partner of choice and the first point of contact when business needs arise.
  • Business Development – researching and approaching new prospect companies, approaching and developing professional relationships with them and converting them to sustainable clients

  • Networking and profile building generally with clients, candidates and colleagues – this could mean networking in the evening

Key Attributes:

  • Have experience in recruitment (technical oil and gas areas) with a proven track record in billing and business development
  • Agency background, proven experience in delivering on role and BD
  • Be able to demonstrate good experience in developing and maintaining client and candidate relationships, preferably with passive candidates
  • Be resilient, determined, proactive and keen to challenge

Role and responsibilities for this position:

  • Developing and building on contractor relationships to grow Petroplan’s contractor base in Mozambique with all Mozambican clients, including offering high quality service to potential nominations
  • Delivering a high quality and fast service to all Petroplan clients, prospect clients and contractors in order to maintain, grow and promote Petroplan’s brand and reputation

  • Liaising with the Mozambican Government and managing the company’s relationship with the government
  • Managing the day to day operations of Petroplan’s office in Mozambique (once established), including ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers, arranging medical insurance, answering the phone and greeting visitors

Petroplan, as a continuously growing specialist Energy recruitment business, is looking to recruit a Team Leader for our renewables division  business.

In this role you will take overall responsibility for the development and delivery of the Renewables team. You will lead and be responsible for your team’s business development activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and drive success across the team whilst working their own market and leading from the front. We have a very established client base within Oil and Gas which we have built up over the last 40 years. We are keen to make to invest in building a team within the Renewables sector which will complement our Energy business. Key responsibilities in the role will be: -

Management

  • Management and growth of the Renewables Team in support of the overall business strategy, ensuring that Recruitment Consultants are properly resourced in line with client demand and that they are being lead, managed, properly assessed and developed throughout the year.  This includes monitoring their performance against KPI’s and other objectives.
