Oil and Gas Consultancy Services in Mozambique
Compliant Consultancy Services and Contractor Mobilisation in Mozambique
Petroplan is uniquely placed as oil, gas and energy manpower specialists to compliantly provide technical consultancy services in Mozambique and fulfil the local employment regulations required for expatriate consultants to work and live in the region to fulfil oil and gas project obligations. Petroplan is fully registered in this territory.
Whilst we have experience of working in many locations across the world all countries present their own local challenges, be it legislative, health and safety, political or cultural. We are particularly aware of Mozambique’s legislative requirements, and we are confident that our consultancy service, mobilisation and payrolling solutions give our clients not only access to exceptional local and expat talent – but also to the appropriate visas and work permits required for the workforce.

Petroplan Looks After Compliance
We are very conscious of the impact that non-compliance can have on clientss projects in Mozambique – not to mention the financial penalties – and we have invested considerable time and resources in planning solutions that will protect an employer from any such risk – through careful one to one in-country consultation with a range of local lawyers and manpower specialists plus active engagement with Mozambique’s Ministry of Labour.
In Mozambique, Petroplan engages additional in-country staff in support of defined and agreed employment requirements. We understand organisations need to meet the national staffing ratios that currently stand at around one expatriate worker to every ten local employees; so being available to fulfil the experience gaps with expatriates and balance the local employment requirements is something Petroplan is prepared for.
Petroplan’s investment in Mozambique has been thoroughly researched, with the market for natural gas growing within the region. We appreciate there are two sectors; firstly the large gas-based industrial users where gas is a major feedstock or manufacturing process used for large amounts of process heat. The second sector is broadly described as small and medium enterprises (SMEs), small industrial and commercial uses of natural gas for process heat.
In essence, we are able to support clients from the upstream through to the downstream requirements of transporting gas from the Rovuma basin and elsewhere.
