General Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Continuous Improvement Leader reports to the General Manager, with matrix reporting to the corporate Director of Lean/Continuous Improvement. This role will function as a dynamic change agent to aggressively lead, or direct business improvement projects using lean and/or six sigma tools. The Continuous Improvement Leader will provide guidance and training, and will facilitate projects to achieve sustained improvements to critical manufacturing and transactional processes. The Continuous Improvement Leader will ensure projects are aligned with regional and corporate strategic goals and will manage projects to ensure completion to schedule. This role of the Continuous Improvement Leader is a key individual contributor.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage projects and prioritize targeted areas of opportunity across the corporation for eliminating waste and reducing variation
  • Facilitate value stream mapping, kaizens, continuous improvement, lean thinking, cycle time reduction events, set-up reduction, TPM, 5S
  • Provide training, leadership and support for kaizen events across all levels of the organization
  • Maintain and keep current detailed project plans
  • Motivate and direct cross-functional teams to achieve desired results through skillful application of the Lean methodologies

Minimum Required: Academic/Education Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering, science, business, or related field and 5 years' experience implementing Lean tools to achieve process improvement

In this position, you will report directly into the Well Construction Team Lead. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring any work performed by the Well Engineering teams (planning and operational) is performed in accordance with company Well Engineering Standards and the Well Engineering Management System.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated drilling professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed, with a good command of the English language.

You must have at least the right to work in the UK and 10 years of industry experience, including at least 1 year experience working within an operating E&P company as a Drilling Supervisor. With preference going to candidates who have recent onshore and remote location experience.

You will be the first point of contact as clients walk in, getting to know their customers and delivering the service they've come to appreciate. This role is responsible for supporting all non-technical aspects of the organization primarily focused on business administration. There is a lot of opportunity for growth into many facets of their operations from Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) to Information Management Services (IMS) and Project Support.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and accurate A/P, A/R processing, purchase order generation, receiving, bank wire transfers, bank and VISA reconciliations
  • Timesheet tracking for payroll and monthly billing
  • Expense claim and payroll processing

  • Financial and customer reporting

Schedule & Benefits:
Our client has a very attractive benefits package including 3 weeks vacation to start plus 5 paid days off, employer RRSP contribution as well as medical and dental benefits and free parking.
