Curriculum Designer

Petroplan is currently hiring for a Curriculum Designer for a major Oil and Gas Company in Houston, TX with relocation to Saudi Arabia.
The curriculum designer's primary role is to design a curriculum in the areas of leadership, management, and supervisory. This includes most aspects of the human resources development (HRD) function, such as needs assessment, research, design of training sources, instruction, piloting, and evaluation.
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a human resources discipline. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in the design of leadership, management, and supervisory curriculum in a corporate environment
  • Deliver training programs focused on leadership, management, and professional development if needed.
  • Experience in designing curriculum, preparing a learning classroom environment, and conducting training.
  • Experience as a curriculum designer of leadership, management, and supervisory workshops and as a workshop facilitator delivering leadership, management, and supervisory knowledge and skill.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at different levels within the organization.
  • Prepare training manuals and materials as well as conduct and evaluate courses.
  • Provide consultation to various management levels including executive management on the analysis of developmental needs and implementation of programs to meet them.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design professional level leadership, management, and supervisory workshop materials.
  • Design workshop evaluations, conduct training needs analysis when needed, and learn contenting.
  • Successfully complete and maintain certifications.
  • Continually gain up-to-date knowledge on leadership and professional level soft skills.
  • Collaborate with other learning professionals in the development of new course material.
  • Review curriculum and make recommendations on utilizing state-of-the-art training aids and techniques, including computer-based and interactive training systems.
  • Ensure timely engagement with managerial/administrator level executives to ensure effectiveness and applicability of training and be an effective team member who consistently practices proven characteristics of effective teaming.

Communications Specialist


Petroplan is seeking a Communications Specialist for a major Oil & Gas Company in Houston, TX with relocation to Saudi Arabia.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Marketing, or Journalism. A Master's Degree is preferred
  • 6-10 years of experience in communication and graphic design, including, but not limited to, experience in other fields such as marketing, journalism, instructional design, and event management. Experience in corporate communications and project management are important.
  • Proven experience as a communications specialist, experience in copywriting and editing, expert abilities in graphic design, working knowledge of MS Office, skills in using photo and video-editing software programs, and outstanding organizational and planning abilities. Experience in Web design and content production is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop effective divisional communication strategies.
  • Manage internal communications (memos, newsletters, etc.).
  • Draft content for internal websites.
  • Organize initiatives and plan events.
  • Assist in providing graphic design to training materials.
  • Foster relationships with advocates and key persons.
  • Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copy for articles and the like.
  • Assist in communication of strategies or messages from the Head of Leadership Development and be able to lead communication and marketing project teams to achieve performance objectives
  • create and manage the LDD's external and internal communications, including, but not limited to, developing effective division communication strategies, drafting content for Company website and leadership skills workshops
  • Organizing events at which the division can meet with their customers and stakeholders to increase product awareness or knowledge of their services or recent developments.
  • Controlling information output, you will handle incoming requests for information. Their general goal is to promote cooperative relationships between the division and those who utilize their services.

We are recruiting for Compensation and Benefits Supervisor position. This will be a permanent staff residential role in Dubai


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources and / or relevant Compensation and Benefits qualifications essential
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources strongly preferred
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Qualification preferred
  • Compensation and Benefits specific professional qualifications preferred
  • 12 years' experience managing payroll processing through Oracle or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, along with relevant compensation and benefits related experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity required.
  • Proven experience on Hay methodology grading and benchmarking.
  • Upstream oil/gas industry experience a strong advantage.
  • Management or Supervisory experience.

  • Detailed understanding of the UAE Labour Law.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written English communication skills, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
