Production Manager - Red Deer
Alberta based manufacturing company is currently looking for an efficient and driven Production Manager for a permanent role located in Red Deer, Alberta.

The responsibilities of the Production Manager include ensuring an effective manufacturing process is in place whilst maintaining a quality standards, and overseeing production itself.
The successful applicant will be responsible for work order creation, assignment, tracking and closure, ensuring all requirements and production deadlines are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production scheduling, prepare and implement work orders and ensure on-time completion.
  • Plan and manage maintenance and calibrations on manufacturing equipment.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on performance and output and effectively relay essential information to production staff.
  • Maximise workflow planning to reduce waste and hit target deadlines.
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel and encourage an effective work environment.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards set in place.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation.



Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant experience.
  • Over 5 years in manufacturing with a minimum 2 years' experience as a Production Manager.
  • Experienced with tracking software and programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Understanding of standards such as ISO:9001 and health and safety protocols.

Senior Instrument Engineer

We are urgently looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer for an immediate start in Aberdeen. This will be a long term contract opportunity, office based with the occasional trip offshore.

Applications must have the following:

  • Valid BOSIET certificate/MIST/Offshore medical completed

Electrical Commissioning Lead

Our client, a Major Operator within the Oil & Gas Industry, has the need for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Lead for a long term contract role based in Houston, TX.

Job Overview:

Will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and effective electrical commissioning for the project from design review up through and including final electrical functional testing This position will be responsible for directing the day to day activities for the commissioning supervisors and providing focused client oversight.

  • Provide guidance and technical review of project electrical testing procedures and associated ITR's
  • Direct day to day electrical commissioning work activities and provide supervisory oversight
  • Perform design reviews and interface with project engineering and vendor representatives. Initiate RFI's as required.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring electrical commissioning team compliance with the project safety program
  • Develop, maintain and review electrical systemization
Experience / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 years experience as a Electrical Commissioning Superintendent / Supervisor within the oil and gas industry
  • 10 years experience in testing power distribution systems and associated components
  • NFPA 70E Certificaiton
  • TWIC Certification
  • Proficient in the development and implementation of electrical testing procedures
  • Knowledgeable in protective relaying
