Petroplan is hiring for a Business Development Manager in Argentina for a Major Oil and Gas Company
Job Description:
The Business Development Manager should possess a broad level of industry and business knowledge in order to provide information that can be utilized to build the Division's goals and strategy; to accomplish this, the Business Development Manager must know their customer base to determine clients' needs and must be able to build relationships at multiple levels within client organizations. The Business Development Manager must be able to communicate customer expectations effectively to key representatives of the Division including the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Technology, and the Division VP. Strong negotiation skills, a long-term strategic focus and conflict resolution skills are essential skills for someone in this role. The BDM should exemplify SCS' Core Values. This position is assigned high profile, deep water accounts.

Duties:

  • Develop and present strategies or blueprint to guide Director of Sales and Marketing for developing the Division's long-term planning purposes
  • Position this Division to be able to participate in formal tenders and RFQs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing, sales, and engineering, and external partners and allies in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.
  • Research and seek out prospective projects through networking and calling on accounts
  • Provide support to upper management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and alliance development projects.
  • Provide input to the management team on new products or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs.
  • Research emerging technologies and trends.
  • Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.

Education:

Site Administrator

In the role of Site Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Calendar management support
  • Meeting room set up for Directors and GM's
  • Travel booking for Directors and GM's
  • Create and maintain documents (LiveLink system)
  • Assist with preparation and day of tasks for workshops
  • Expense management (company Visa's)
  • Assist in the creation of purchase orders through SAP
  • Assist with the allocation of office space, assist with office moves
  • Supply ordering
  • Maintain email distribution lists (Outlook)


Additional responsibilities for a site based role:

  • Assist with vehicle pass requests
  • Manage the scheduling of regular maintenance for 3 fleet vehicles, and maintain the sign out sheets for the vehicles
  • Other site-based administrative duties as required

SCADA Implementation Specialist

We are looking for a SCADA Implementation Specialist / Project Manager for a large oil and gas project based in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of pipeline transportation system control:

Responsibilities:

Assess customers' needs, business services demand gathering, demand analysis

  • Create specifications, specification sheets and define tenders
  • Lead and / or validate technical solution design for required services
  • Define budget for solution / service required
  • Define Service Level Agreement with partners
  • Lead development projects and coordinate external contractors / system integrators
  • Manage complex applications integration
  • Coordinate Application Management and Application Maintenance for area of responsibility
  • Monitor project and / or activities progress
  • Organize and coordinate testing phases, get approval from end users to go-live
  • Monitor technical performance and service level of partners
  • Report on cost and risk management of projects and activities

Technical experience required:

  • Profound IT basis, especially in terms of data bases, web technologies, Enterprise Application Integration technologies
  • Knowhow in release and life cycle management of applications
  • Knowledge of the European gas markets and analogous technical implementation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of one or more business process of TSO
  • Good knowledge of the following process:
    • Transportation system control
    • Simulation & Optimization
    • Meter reading

Professional experience required:

  • At least 10 in years in IT projects and at least 5 years in the position (Service / Project Management)
  • Project Management experiences (optional certification)
  • Very good economic knowledge (cost control, project budget definition)
