Petroplan are currently looking to recruit an excellent Quality Assurance Manager to work for a major Oil and Gas client in South East England on a 6 month contract.

This will be within the Lubricants department so this experience and background is essential.

Qualifications:

At least 10 years system quality experience (5 years within the automotive & aerospace

Chartered Quality professional or equivalent

Qualified internal/external or lead Auditor

Computer skills i.e. Excel, with the ability to generate automated standard report using pivot tables or other Excel tools

Energy enthusiasm and a drive to deliver

Attention to detail and an ability to analyse data, identify trends and convert them into insights.

Good influencing skills

Ability to manage multiple projects to completion through fit-for-purpose project management techniques

Excellent written and aural communication skills

The ability to manage multiple projects and supplier accounts

Great team player and ability to work closely with colleagues

The ability to take quality standards and processes and articulate them simply, in an engaging, succinct, jargon-free way

Positive can do attitude and able to think outside the box and open to new ideas

Quality tools(AIAG "Automotive Core Tools"), systems & process learning

Understanding of quality assurance

Quality Control

Product manufacture & Distribution

Product Design, Development and specifications

Job Title : Senior Lifting Equipment Engineer

Primary purpose of job
Provide Corporate governance for the integrity of lifting equipment/operations and gas cylinder to ensure that associated risks are managed As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and in compliance with statutory requirements, mandatory regulations, technical standards and good engineering practices.
Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 12 years relevant post graduate experience of mechanical equipment operation, inspection , maintenance and certification with minimum 8 years in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical related industries with emphasis on lifting equipment and gas cylinder operation, maintenance, inspection and certification aspects with at least 5 years in a similar responsible position.- In depth knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards for inspection, testing and certification of LE.


Education

  • BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with Chartered Engineering status or equivalent.- Certification by Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) 'LEEA Part-1 (LEEA) Foundation Course (FOU) and any other Part or equivalent would be an added advantage.
