To provide functional support to Projects Department in terms of (Posting, Tracking, Receiving) all P.O's into the Ax System related to (Goods/Services) and have the basic understanding of procurement process.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and work with projects Control, procurement department for materials/Services receipt status.
  • Supporting the projects Team with guidance and advice on required proactive and mitigating actions whilst ensuring the accurate status using throughout all work scope.
  • Follow up Construction Team and maintain tracking of work done to be in sync with the ERP system.
  • Close outs of purchase orders, checking final documentation receipts and to ensure the 3 way match (P.O, Good/Service Receipt & Invoice).
  • Identifying and highlighting all areas of critical concern that might affect the process of Posting and receiving P.O's within projects organization.
  • Reporting the status of the planned activities through the AX system vs. the actual completion status & invoice status

Supply Chain Category Manager

Petroplan is currently hiring for a Supply Chain Category Manager for a major Oil and Gas Company in Houston, TX with relocation to Saudi Arabia.


The Supply Chain Category Manager's primary role is implementing the category management methodologies to support the UR operation. Through this role, you will play a central part in the development of category/sub-category demand forecasts, supply market analyses, and category management strategies. You will be responsible for implementing these strategies to maximize the total life cycle value obtained from the categories. In addition, you will lead supplier relationship management activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field and a Masters would be desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive field-based experience in the oil and gas industry with deep and extensive knowledge of either drilling fluids category management and commodities OR drilling and completions category management and commodities.
  • Experience working within unconventional resources and possess sound knowledge hydraulic fracking and understanding of Drilling Fluids, coring, mud logging, etc.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and SAP systems.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demand forecasting: Participate in the development of demand forecasts and identify implications of such forecasts.
  • Category strategy development: In coordination with the conventional Materials Supply category management organization you will develop category management strategies for drilling and completions categories and sub-categories, considering both the internal UR requirements and supply market conditions, to maximize the total life cycle value delivered to UR business users. You will develop category workbooks and procurement strategies to be implemented over the next ten years and present these strategies to key stakeholders and management. You will also ensure that category strategies comply with legal requirements and company policies, value assurance frameworks and business principles.
  • Strategic Sourcing implementation: Prioritize strategic sourcing activities for the categories/sub-categories, and lead the execution of these activities (implementing the category strategies), including supply market engagement, preparation of RFP/RFX, evaluation of responses, negotiations, and development of strategic agreements.
  • Supplier Relationship management: Develop segmented supplier relationship engagement models for suppliers, monitor supplier/category performance, and engage with suppliers to improve performance.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with major contractors and suppliers at top management level, leveraging such relationships with relevant markets to provide current and insightful market intelligence.
  • Cross-functional coordination within UR: Coordinate with UR business users, technical proponents, and other UR Supply Chain functions (such as tactical procurement and materials management) to ensure that the maximum value is obtained from the categories.
  • Coordination with conventional Materials Supply: Coordinate with category managers in the conventional Saudi Aramco Materials Supply organization, to ensure alignment of category strategies at the corporate level and a unified approach to market for strategic categories while utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience to ensure that UR implements a cost-efficient and effective category management function.

Outside Technical Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Location: Edmonton (office based) Or NW Alberta (Home based)

The Outside Technical Sales Representative will promote and secure the sale of pump and gas compressor products within the assigned market sectors. Market sectors include Municipal Water and Wastewater, Fire Protection, Heavy and Light Industrial and Commercial with specific account focus on EPC's, engineering consultants, mechanical contractors, end user accounts and OEM's within the assigned territory of Edmonton or Northern Alberta.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, qualify and secure sales opportunities for the companies represented products, including the appropriate packaged systems, in the prescribed markets and territory.
  • Develop, nurture and maintain close working relationships with the decision-makers in the assigned markets including consultants, operator/maintenance and contractors.
  • Influence and assist in preparing technical specifications for the engineering consultants on represented products.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Regional Sales Managers for represented products.
  • Provide market intelligence to Inside Sales during quote preparation.
  • Follow up and close quotes issued by Inside Sales.
  • Update and maintain internal sales tracking system on a regular and frequent basis.
  • Develop and maintain project activity reports indicating status ( i.e. pre feasibility, budget, RFQ)
  • Assist in developing yearly sales forecasts.
  • Conduct product/process lunch and learn sessions to the appropriate engineering firms.
  • Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements.
  • Promote products at regional trade shows as required.
  • At least 3 years demonstrated ability to successfully sell the assigned products in this geographical area.
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and influence buying decisions
  • Technical education and background, C.E.T preferred.
  • A thorough and demonstrated knowledge of the processes involved in the Oil & Gas market place (Conventional - upstream/midstream and SAGD)
  • Superior and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills required for technical documents review and comment.
  • Better than average computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Superior organizational skills - a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a busy team.
