Senior Corporate Reporting Analyst Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or a Business Related Function
  • Must have no less than 7 years' of experience
  • CPA is strongly preferred
  • Must have previous experience with consolidations, US GAAP and SOX internal controls
  • Must account for changes in equity accounts primarily related to intercompany transactions
  • Must be proficient within Hyperion HFM

Petroplan is currently hiring for a Contracts Advisor for a major Oil and Gas Company in Houston, TX with relocation to Saudi Arabia.

The Contracts Advisor primary role is to serve as the Contract Proponent representative in the development and administration of contracts in assigned organization. In addition, the Contracts Advisor provides contractual expertise necessary to develop, maintain and administer various contracts and amendments simultaneously. Provides input on related contract actions (i.e., actions required to administer, extend, renew, and terminate the contracts). The value of individual contracts developed by an incumbent is between $500,000 and up to $100 million.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Construction/Project Management or closely related fields. An advanced degree is acceptable.
  • Mnimum Five (5) years' experience in Contracts Administration, contracting techniques and must be familiar with contracting strategies with three (3) years in related to Construction work in commercial, light industrial, institutional, residential development projects and or multifamily residential projects. International experience highly desirable.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of financial studies that establish feasibilities for contract type services and evaluation of alternatives that may be technical, financial and/or procedural/administrative.
  • Develop, in conjunction with Contracting professional, analysis and technical qualification of bidders.
  • Support in the development of the scope of work for various contract services.
  • Develop contracts status reports for executive management.
  • Participate as the contract proponent representative on the Bid Review Team charged with development of a realistic Company position on contract terms and the negotiation of these terms.
  • Assist in the preparation of professional analysis or development of bid responses, negotiation offers and counter offers.
  • Assist in the preparation of verifications of contractor cost and escalation or de-escalation amendments.
  • Forms part of negotiating team, comprised of Contracting and contract proponent representatives. Prepares responses and helps to represent applicable proponent on Claim Review Panels.
  • Provide or assist in the provision for proponent representation in the administration of contracts and participate in the development of financial and technical advice, intent of contract language, scopes of service or other clauses that may impact cost and cost/benefit relationships.
  • Support in providing justifications and recommendations for changes in contracting procedure or contract format for management approval.
  • Perform periodic examination of Contract Administration in the field in order to locate shortcomings or potential problems in the administrative procedures or contract terms and conditions.

Petroplan is hiring a Transfer Analyst for a major Oil and Gas Company in Houston, TX.
This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently with good decision making skills while gathering and analyzing complex data from a wide range of sources. The source of data includes but is not limited to leases, contracts, division orders, title opinions, curative and other such related documents.

The position requires someone knowledgeable about the upstream energy business who regularly acquires knowledge of industry practices, trends, regulations, laws, rulings as they pertain to our core business activities. This position requires someone skilled in all facets of ownership including various interaction levels with internal and external business partners.

This person in this role must possess strong analytical skills, computer skills and advanced knowledge about the use of core computer applications along with related applications that support our Project and business effort. The ability to interact with the upstream organization using excellent interpersonal skills, while being aligned to company goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Responsible for processing a high volume of transfer of interests in SAP while adhering to strict deadlines.
*Responsible for processing a high volume of Business Associate data related to Division Orders in SAP.
*Support and responsiveness to our Finance colleagues by making available ownership to allow for accurate and timely processing of production volumes, production revenue, and joint interest billing.
*Must possess advanced knowledge of formats of various legal descriptions so as to analyze spacing and unit map information and apply that information to our core business processes.
*Responding to phone calls, emails and mail from external and internal customers regarding title issues, inquiries and account questions.
*Clearly and effectively communicate with both internal and external business partners as well as property owners to obtain needed information and/or documents or to convey information.
*Adhere to internal document management process to ensure correspondence, instruments, records, and all other data are filed, imaged and indexed appropriately for retrieval and analysis.
*Alignment with company needs to monitor and measure business activities and to continuously improve our business processes. .
*Contribute to and support LEAN practices in all aspects of the role as the Company moves toward a distinctive LEAN culture which is a foundation block for BPEI in 2020.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
*Capable of calculating complex Net Revenue and Working Interests
*Advanced knowledge of land administration including:
*Lease, royalty, and joint interest partner concepts.
*Laws and regulatory provisions related to oil and gas extraction.
*Contract administration.
*Strong knowledge of oil and gas operations.
*Advanced analytical skills.
*Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
*In-depth knowledge in PRA/SAP Ownership Modules
*Knowledge of Chain of Title
*In-depth knowledge of the essential requirements of ownership transfers and be able to interpret the effects of a wide range of ownership-transfer documents.

*Bachelor's degree preferable or commensurate experience. Certifications or degrees in the following are also a plus: Law, Petroleum Land Management, and Division Order Analyst.
