Contracts and Mobilisation Consultant
Location: London

This role is for a permanent position. Our Mobilisation team has a vital role in ensuring that high quality and standards are maintained when dealing with the mobilisation of contractors to our global client base. You will be dealing with both contractors and clients across a range of seniority levels. The work is complex and requires a mature, logical mind and perceptive approach as well as a patient, can-do attitude.

Job Description

  • Managing the new starter induction process for contractors commencing assignments with your allocated clients. This includes handling all mobilisation procedures such as travel, visas, work permits, offshore training, medicals and accommodation. It will involve close liaison with clients and contractors as well as our internal account managers, recruitment consultants and finance/payroll team
  • Key contact for assigned contractors, dealing with queries and complications promptly and efficiently
  • Developing and building on contractor and client relationships together with passing any key information/leads to the relevant account manager.
  • Updating, managing & monitoring contractor information on the internal database (full training will be provided)
  • Ensuring the relevant Accounts Managers and Recruiters are alerted of any relevant information about their contractors including contract amendments, extensions, terminations, payment issues (if they require escalation) and potential leads.
  • Managing the contractor's contract, renewal, amendments, and discussing new terms.
  • Tracking visas/work permits/medical renewals and rotation schedules.
  • Client and contractor visits

Job Requirements

Essential - if you do not fulfil these requirements, you will not be considered for the position:

  • Demonstrate a professional level of written and verbal communication
  • Be confident, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships quickly
  • Have 3-5 years admin experience within a fast-paced industry
  • Have superb organisational and administrative skills
  • Have a proven track record of a strong ability to prioritise
  • Have excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and preferably previous experience of using databases) and typing skills of at least 45 wpm
  • Can work well under pressure, with a robust and resilient attitude to deal effectively with work demand
  • Have a committed, keen and hardworking attitude; able to organise oneself and deliver results
  • Be patient with a can-do attitude and a desire/ability to identify solutions.
  • Be of smart appearance
  • Academic qualifications aren't essential but having a degree (or equivalent) may give you an advantage over other applicants


  • Experience of working in the Recruitment or Travel industry

Job Description:

  • Proven track record in billing and business development
  • Be able to demonstrate good experience in developing and maintaining client and candidate relationships, preferably with passive candidates
  • Be resilient, determined, proactive and keen to challenge

This is a permanent role reporting to the Group Financial Controller and is based at our head office in Guildford.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Group and subsidiary level month end reporting
  • Prepare and control all balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets, inter-company balances, debtors, bank, creditors (including payroll)
  • Statutory reporting & audit on a global basis, including preparation of subsidiary and group consolidated statutory accounts (foreign currency translations, inter-company eliminations, management fees, royalties)
  • Liaising with external auditors on all audit issues to include planning, on site audit work (schedules), completion and sign off
  • Implementation of process improvements and controls as identified internally and from external auditors
  • Create efficient methods and models for accounting and financial record-keeping
  • Work closely with management accounts team on reporting issues, technical updates
  • Ad hoc financial tasks /projects

You will ideally have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Statutory accounts preparation (group consolidations) and technically strong (audit background an advantage)
  • International experience preferred (foreign exchange reporting, transfer pricing)
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo
  • Experience of Caseware would be beneficial
  • Both Blue Chip and SME experience desired
  • Strong academic record

  • Assist with the tracking of data changes through the Company's CRM system (Bullhorn)
  • Provide cover for other Finance team members
