Position: Night Company Man

Job type: Rotational

Location: West TX - Permian

Petroplan is currently working with an expansion focused E&P business who are in the process of expanding their operations with additional rigs. Due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the business to add a number of highly experienced Night Company men to their Permian division to assist with the ongoing and upcoming unconventional projects.

In this position, you will report directly into the Drilling Superintendent and act as the focal point for all rig site drilling activities. You will be involved with ensuring that all Drilling activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Ensuring the team in the field are keeping to and maintaining the expected standards
  • Managing and working with the Health & Safety teams to ensure correct procedures are being followed
  • Increasing rig site and operational cost efficiency

You must have at least 20 years of experience, including 5 years' experience in horizontal drilling operations working as a rig site supervisor. Experience working in the Permian is required for this position.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated drilling professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.

We're looking for an established Well Testing and Data Acquisition Technician in Halifax, Nova Scotia to join the team for our Clients Offshore operations.

Requirements:

  • 5 Years' experience in well test data acquisition
  • Experience in Data Acquisition System (hardware and software)

Due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the business to add a highly experienced Completion Engineer to their Permian operations division to assist with the ongoing and upcoming unconventional projects.

In this position, you will report directly into the Completion Engineer and act as the focal point for all completion activity. You will be involved with ensuring that all activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Investigate fracture stimulation applications for use in the field and make recommendations on new methods/techniques
  • Work with other departments to identify the best way to improve stimulation treatments to maintain the balance between performance and price.
  • Travel to the field is required as and when needed
  • Deal with third party vendors with a strong focus on cost and performance

You must have at least 10 years of experience, including 6 years' experience in oil and gas operations working as a Completion Engineer. Experience working in the Permian is preferred.

In this position, you will report directly into the foreman and act as the focal point for all EHS on site construction activities. You will be involved with ensuring that all activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Responsible for scheduling and overseeing subcontractor roustabout crews, may include supervising the installation of equipment
  • Produces, maintains and assists with schedule tracking start dates, complete dates, and Up to date cost.
  • Attends assigned weekly construction meetings, Safety Meetings, and all trainings required by the Noble.
  • Reviews service companies' invoices for accuracy, validates and processes initial approval.

You must have at least 10 years of experience, including 6 years' experience in oil and gas operations. Experience working in the Permian is preferred.
