basic development, detailed engineering and construction as well as commissioning and post audits.

Responsiblities

Provide process design input through all the phases of a project
Pre feasibility, feasibility, basic development, detailed engineering
and construction as well as commissioning and post audits.

*Perform technical / feasibility studies to evaluate margin and process
improvement opportunities.

*Update existing and develop new process design job standards, i.e.,
Job Loss Analyses, guides, procedures and checklists.

*Perform lookbacks at the end of key project phases and integrate
lessons learnt into job standards, processes and systems.

*Participate in a Community of Practice ( CoP ) for process

Principal Responsibilities

  • Is accountable for all HSE aspects of the well services & well integrity operations.
  • Direct and coordinate the preparation of well services and well integrity policies, guidelines, procedures and standards.
  • Manage well intervention to ensure all recommendations of the Well Integrity team are performed as per defined priorities to ensure integrity of wells.
  • Ensure wells are properly investigated to minimize risk of uncontrolled release of formation fluids throughout their life cycle.
  • Management System (WIMS)
  • Production Engineering and Head of Site Operations.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Minimum of BSc in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 15 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • A minimum 10 years of proven experience in petroleum engineering and well integrity monitoring/remedial work.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience in leading petroleum operations, drilling, or petroleum engineering groups with direct responsibility for operated projects.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in well surveillance and be familiar with corrosion logs and other diagnostic tools.
  • Mandatory offshore safety training and fitness to travel offshore regularly

Technical Services Manager - Gas Compression

Currently working with a Midstream business here in Houston who are looking for an experienced Engineer to join the team in a hands on managment role overseeing a reletively small team of Project Engineers for Gas compression projects all over the United States.

The growing Technical Services team is seen as subject matter experts on a range of topics and brings a unique combination of technical expertise and communication skills to field and customer interactions. The position reports to the VP of Engineering and will require travel to field and office locations.

This is a role with managerment/leadership responsibiltes but requires someone who is happy to be a hands on Proejct Engineer at the same time, looking for someone who can be a "boots on the gorund" manager.

The successful candidate for this positoin with have:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering.

- 15 years in hands-on engineering roles within an industrial business.

- 5 years in a technical leadership role with the abliity to travel

- Experience leading customer interactions and workign closely with the sales team.

- Experience with controls, piping systems, and compressed gases strongly preferred.

Construction Analyst - Prince George

This position is ideally based in our client's Prince George office. The main focus is construction schedule monitoring, progress reporting, cost control and earned value reporting.
Responsibilities

  • Schedule Management: Construction schedule monitoring and resources monitoring regarding scheduled targets
  • Provide cost tracking and reporting against established budgets
  • Earned Value Analysis: Provide cost trending reporting to required stakeholders to ensure pro-active management related to forecasted expenditures
  • Work with the Program Controls and Program Supervisor to define the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Budget that will be utilized for the Dig Program Packages
  • Work with the Program Controls and Program Supervisor to set up score cards for earned value reporting broken down by the WBS. Update and monitor performance of the Program and the contractors based on the results. The frequency of the reports will vary dependent on Program requirements and constraints.
  • Interface with the contractors to ensure deliverables per the "Contractor Program Controls Reporting Requirements" are timely and accurate
  • Validate daily LEM Sheets and other similar contractor submittals for agreed rates, and the correct WBS coding for the works performed.
  • Interface with the Inspectors that approve the daily LEM Sheets (Daily Site Reports), and other similar reports for the accuracy of the hours expended, and that the resources are itemized as an accurate reflection of the works taking place.
  • Review of Contractor Invoices, ensuring that the coding, amounts, and reported quantities are in agreement with the information provided by the contractor to date, and in agreement with the terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Progress Monitoring (daily and weekly basis): Construction progress tracking, quantities reports, and progress trending on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Cost Management: Cost reports updating, construction works cost tracking, contractor's cost



Qualifications

  • Post-secondary in Engineering technology, or business/accounting related studies.
  • Formal training in Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Controls, and Planning is an asset.
  • Construction Experience: Must have 2 to 5 years of construction experience related to cost and scheduling controls of multi discipline Programs, on actual Program sites.
  • Oil and Gas industry related experience will be required
  • Software Experience: Must be proficient in Excel, Word and have a basic understanding of scheduling principles including MS Projects / Data base software.
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. The ability to clearly articulate requirements in a fast paced environment are critical.

Our energy client has a position for a quality specialist based in their Prince George Operations. A key component of this role will be to review written reports with analyses and briefing notes for completeness and compliance with operational standards.
This position is to lead all facets of investigations relating to Quality incidents and assessment of the Dig Program processes, procedures and work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper evaluation, development and execution of the Dig Program implementation by following processes and procedures.
  • Ensures contractor compliance with Inspection Plans, construction drawings and procedures, and other quality documents applicable to the work being performed. Ensure all field records are compiled all required turnover packages are completed
  • Reviewing the project plans and specifications and submit required QA/QC documents including site specific QA/QC plan, input to method statements, Inspection and Test plans, etc.
  • Analyze, develop and recommend preventative/corrective actions. Monitor to ensure the appropriate action items are completed for close-out
  • Collect, analyze and evaluate dig program history in order to develop improvement opportunities for future integrity program execution performance.
  • Identify and analyze trends in Quality Investigations and make training and other recommendations to address performance deficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Provide services for the monitoring and reporting of Quality related incidents to Enbridge's dig program management team and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for compiling, analyzing and distributing statistics related to assigned areas of accountability that are required for regularly scheduled status reports, executive briefings and special requests related to quality services metrics
  • Works independently on complex technical issues and demonstrates broad business


Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in engineering or related technically focused discipline
  • Professional certification in PMP, Quality Management or equivalent is an asset
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a Quality management role, at offices and at construction sites.
  • Thorough knowledge of Engineering, Supply Chain, Fabrication and Construction Quality processes as part of project execution.
  • Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Planning and Total Quality Management
  • Experience with Process Safety Management
  • Excellent working knowledge of applicable Canadian codes and standards (such as the Z-662)
  • Excellent working knowledge of applicable legislation
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and data entry/retrieval
  • Ability and willingness to travel

JOB DESCRIPTION AND PROFILE

This position will be located at the shore/logistics base and will provide materials and logistics co-ordination function to support well construction and project management.

Reports directly to the Drilling Superintendent.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 20 years in the Oil & Gas Industry and at least 6 years as Senior Infra structure engineer and relevant Logistics Management experience
  • Operator experience, especially IOC, will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Inventory systems, Shipping and Warehousing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in any engineering or science discipline. Civil engineering will be a preference.
  • BOSIET certification
