Plant Engineer

Company Overview:

We are currently working with a US Based organization that provides refineries, gas processing and petrochemical plants a wide variety of catalyst services and products.

Position Summary:

The Plant Engineer primarily oversees the process within the Plant. The ideal candidate would be able to oversee, recommend, and implement new processes and utilization of operations and equipment. They will also be responsible for providing a wide array of engineering knowledge and skills for related projects, proposals, processes, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pre-approve and monitor jobs around the facility and make recommendations wherever need be
  • Works alongside various members of the team including, production manager, customer service, warehouse managers, sales, and other key personnel.
  • Maintain a visible daily presence to stay informed and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Serves as the back-up for the Production Manager.
  • Must be leader in Plant Safety compliance and driving safe behavior within the operation.
  • Works very closely with Shift Supervisor's and Operators on a daily basis, and oversees the technical troubleshooting within the Plant.
  • Analyzes lab and production parameters and data to both resolve technical issues, and improve production.
  • Conducts well documented technical trials on the process and writes reports on these trials as needed.
  • Works closely with R&D team to develop new products and to improve existing products.
  • Perform support work and troubleshooting work in the pilot lab.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and planning sessions that involve Plant operations.
  • Works with accounting team to finalize monthly utility usage.
  • Be a key contributor on special projects and capital projects as assigned.
  • Involved in training process for newly hired Operators; will also train Shift Supervisors and A Operators on new technical processes and procedures as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; or equivalent combination of some education plus 2-3 years of experience.
  • 2-3 years operations experience; preferably in an Oil & Gas, Catalyst, or Chemical Manufacturing
  • Computer skills including but not limited to: Inventory Management System, Microsoft Suite, Outlook
  • Experience in ISO-9001 a plus.
  • Professional Engineer certification not required, but a plus.

Completions Engineer

Currently recruiting for a growing Oil & Gas company looking to expand their team by adding a Completions Engineer. Prospective candidates must have experience working in unconventional L48 shale gas assets. This position will be located in Dallas/Fort Worth area with occasional travel to the field to support operations when and as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct completion procedures with cost and time estimate.
  • Must utilize best practices from a wide variety of operations.
  • Responsible for stimulation program design, detailed completion and can make recommendations to achieve completion goals by screening performance, schedule, production and cost.
  • Responsible for designing completions, preparing procedures, cost estimates and other documentation while working with field supervisors during execution.
  • Design hydraulic fracture stimulations to certain areas around geologic measures.
  • Obtain higher efficiencies, improve procedures and implement more cost-effective methods by performing numerous tests based on current/past production


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineer is required (Petroleum Engineering is Preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in Oil & Gas industry with at least 2 years working in the field
  • Experience working in unconventional L48 shale asset
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environment with an emphasis on timely delivery, cost consciousness, interactive work style and sound execution

Facilities Project Manager

The Facilities Projects Manager reports directly to the Vice President Engineering and will provide general Engineering, Procurement, Construction oversight and Operations support to the facility for all Capital Projects for both the Home Office and Site. The Facilities Projects Manager will also control schedule and Budget for all projects under his direction.
Strong knowledge of the design, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems within an LNG Plant is required. Understanding of all facets of LNG processing, storage and transportation, including health, safety, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards. In-depth knowledge of plant maintenance philosophies and design, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems within the LNG Plant. Knowledge of FERC, USCG, DOT and OSHA regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Position has responsibility for coordination of the Project technical activities, plans, cost controls and schedules. Has oversight of Contractor(s) engineering work and monitors work for compliance of applicable codes and specifications, accepted engineering practices and company requirements.
  • Responsibilities include oversight of Project general tasks and activities for engineering, procurement support and assistance, design, construction, project cost and schedule and handover to Operations.
  • The Facility Projects Manager is the lead technical representative for management of subcontractors and direct contractors for adherence to the project design and specification basis.
  • Provide company engineering design input to the subcontractors for adherence to LNG codes and other relevant standards.
  • Lead, supervise, and participate in a multi-discipline team of professionals that provide Company support, monitoring, reporting and project controls related to the project.
  • Participate in the oversight for development of engineering specifications and provide guidance and quality assurance in the procurement of materials, equipment and services to ensure conformity with sound engineering practice and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide supervision to the construction quality and adherence to specifications within a safe work environment of all the Contractors and subcontractors.
  • Assure adherence to approved designs, project specifications, schedule and budget that comply with safety and environmental regulations/procedures and other statutory requirements.
  • Keep management and Project Team informed of any technical, schedule or cost impacts to other project tasks & activities.


Education:

· A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. A Professional Engineering License in good standing with the state of Texas or Louisiana is preferred.

Experience:

· Minimum of ten (10) years of LNG plant and/or natural gas process plant operations working experience within the oil and gas industry of which at least 4 years of experience in a similar position of responsibility and expertise in an operating LNG Liquefaction facility.

Machine Shop Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling of jobs and work flow.

Senior Production Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Work in concert with field operations staff to insure production goals and cost controls are met.
  • Reviews economic status of well fields, requests/reviews bids for work to be performed, and recommends contractor and equipment.
  • Calculate final spill and release amounts.
  • Sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements.
  • Recommend wells for recompletion and or abandonment.
  • Perform open hole and cased hole log evaluation.
  • Responsible for cost containment and regulatory compliance in concert with EHS personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineer or related degree is required

We are currently working with a well established and expansion focused E&P business who are in the process of expanding their in-country presence. Due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the business to add a highly experienced Petroleum Engineer to their team to assist with the ongoing and upcoming projects.

In this position, you will report directly into the Head of subsurface and be responsible for Stewarding and perform technical supervision of petroleum engineering activities including all aspects of well completion, workover and rigless well work (from job design to on-site implementation); well surveillance, well/field network performance modelling /optimization and reservoir management activities. Key challenges will include:

  • Performing technical supervision of well/surface network modelling and updating work including artificial lift design and troubleshooting for field performance optimization
  • Working on the longer term 5 year business plan and preparing the well plans
  • Support Geologist and Geophysicist in estimating original fluids in place by deterministic and probabilistic methods.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated drilling professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed, with a good command of the English language and passion for safety.

You must have at least 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years solid waterflooding experience.

You must also have at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
