Subsea Specialist Supervisor

Petroplan is currently recruiting for a market leading Oil & Gas service company in the Houston area looking to add a Subsea Specialist Supervisor. This position will be a short term contract with the opportunity of being extended. Prospective candidates will need to have all certifications up to date as you will be working periodically offshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete daily job logs and turn in reports
  • Responsible for assembling, testing, and operating equipment used for subsea safety systems
  • Operate projects including completions, workover and DST operations
  • Operate equipment such as pneumatic pumps to hydraulically operate different functions of subsea safety tools
  • Assist engineers with generating procedures
  • Attend daily meetings with crew members



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a Supervisor role
  • Experience operating in Gulf of Mexico
  • Up to date certifications such as T.W.I.C Card and Well Control

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Petroplan is currently looking to speak with Senior Reservoir Engineering professionals on behalf of several oil & gas companies within the Texas area that have upcoming needs within their subsurface teams . Prospective candidates must have extensive unconventional shale play experience in multiple resource plays in the United States. These openings will likely be office based with the occasional travel to the field as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimating reserves and generating forecasts for property evaluations and development planning
  • Evaluate well economics for new drilling opportunities and valuations for leasing
  • Generating and managing auditing of the companies SEC reserves reporting
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment with great communication skills



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer
  • 5 years of unconventional shale play experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Master's Degree is preferable
  • Expertise in technical applications such as ARIES, Peep, OFM and reserves software
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA with no sponsorship required

Senior Development Reservoir Engineer

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Senior Development Reservoir Engineer to work with a leading oil and gas company based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
This is a rare opportunity to work for a well run, industry leading operator with a large amount of responsibility and platform to affect the business to a significant degree.

Responsibilities

  • Asset optimization: works closely with Land, Geology, and Operations departments to optimize the economic development for US unconventionals
  • Appraise and monitor reservoir performance
  • Reserve estimation
  • Technical studies: conduct studies of well performance, completion design and other projects to support activities with a vide array of techniques
  • Future performance prediction
  • Provide technical expertise to team subsurface discussions
  • Mentoring and training of junior engineers

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years' oil and gas experience applying solid reservoir management skills
  • Extensive reservoir evaluation and development experience in at least one key US shale gas play (Marcellus, Niobrara, Haynesville, Utica, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of unconventional development concepts and experience to apply them in a dynamic development program
  • Intermediate to Advanced Aries user
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in relevant discipline
  • Strong technical background including material balance, decline curve analysis, volumetrics, nodal analysis, pressure transient analysis, etc. and a good understanding of geology
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with MS Office
