Following the establishment of a branch office in Calgary in 2005, Husky awarded Petroplan an exclusive outsourcing contract in January 2007 to support the personnel requirements associated with its extensive portfolio of upstream, midstream and downstream projects within the domestic and international business units.

Petrofac is an international service provider to the oil and gas production and processing industries.

Petroplan began working with Petrofac in 2005 - the year our office in Aberdeen opened. 

We have since supported many of Petrofac's projects globally, including assignments in the North Sea, Middle East, Asia and various European locations.

We have a strong working relationship with Petrofac and have provided them with contract recruitment and management services, predominantly focussing on engineering, construction, commissioning, project services and operations/maintenance.  Petroplan’s expertise in topsides has underpinned our relationship and we look forward to building on this relationship in the future.

Hess Corporation is an integrated energy company with operations in 23 countries.

Petroplan has been working with Hess since 1985 supplying skilled contract personnel to their UK North Sea and international projects.

During 2007, Petroplan identified and placed a fifty five man start-up and operations team for an onshore desert-based project for which we continue to support now.  This ongoing success is attributed to the detailed understanding of the needs at Hess which Petroplan has built up. Contractors also benefited from this close liaison, allowing a rapid and smooth programme to be fulfilled.

Since the project’s commencement, we have provided over 200 contract staff for Exploration, FEED, EPC, Operations and Training Services.

Since Petroplan began operating in 1976, we have been working closely with BP throughout the world, supporting their onshore, offshore and petrochemical projects. 

Our relationship with BP has steadily grown throughout this time and during 2002, in order to support their Caspian Region projects, we took the decision to establish a registered office and local team in Baku.  As as a consequence, Petroplan supplies engineering personnel to BP’s assets for the Azeri, Chirag and Gunalshi field developments, the Shah Deniz gas field development and the Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey (AGT) export pipeline projects. 

During 2007, Petroplan became a first tier supplier to BP in North America, working with the GoM & NAG business units providing upstream personnel with on and offshore expertise.

Petroplan started providing contract personnel to BP's Rumaila project in Iraq during 2009.  Staff supplied by Petroplan to their Iraqi site and project offices in the UK and UAE has steadily increased since we began working with BP.

In 2009, our global relationship with BP developed further and we were awarded global preferred supplier status.  Via our local network of offices, we currently support BP’s project locations throughout Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Europe (including the North Sea), Georgia, India, Iraq, Jordan, Korea, Libya, Monaco, Oman, Singapore, Sharjah, and Turkey and across the US.

Petroplan attends regular Agency Forum meetings conducted by BP which provides  a platform for sharing information concerning a number of subjects including retention of staff, industrial relations management, security briefings, emergency response planning, managing the employment of nationals, community relations and other community projects.

BHP Billiton is a global mining, oil and gas company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and with a management office in London, United Kingdom.

Petroplan has been assisting BHP Billiton with their contract and permanent staffing requirements since 1996.  The majority of their contract staff working on the Ohanet and Rod projects in Algeria were engaged via Petroplan.  

We also provide technical staff to their corporate offices in Liverpool Bay

Africa's leading independent oil company.

Tullow Oil is a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company.  They have a strong presence in Africa which provides opportunities to open up new basins and establish new oil producing countries such as Ghana and Uganda.

Petroplan began working for Tullow Oil in 2005 and have placed contract personnel, throughout their sites in the UK, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya and Equatorial Guinea.  The number of Petroplan personnel working for Tullow has steadily increased over the past few years, in line with the company's rapid expansion
