DESCRIPTION

Seeking an ambitious, hunter minded Strategic Business Development Manager for a specialty chemical manufacturer selling into a number of vertical markets including oil and gas, chemical processing, pulp & paper, etc. The position will be a direct hire, permanent opportunity based in/around the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. Exciting sales opportunity with strategic key clients in the area and the ability to be an integral part of territory growth. NO Sponsorship will be provided. Relocation offered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

- Individual revenue contribution; new business and account management

- Strategic lead generation, forecasting and client interfacing activities

- Budget management and strategic long term growth planning

- Set standards for customer satisfaction, retention and territory applications of relevant product and service offering.

- Solutions and value added selling

Ideal Candidate:

- BS Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Applied Sciences or other relevant field

- 4 + years of outside sales or business development experience related to specialty chemicals in to the pulp and paper industry OR tissue/ towel.

- Proven track record of account management and sales achievements

- Ability to travel within region

- US Citizen
