Our client, a large Oil & Gas client is looking for an Operations Representative to support the supply and inventory management of heavy oil products. This individual will be a team player with the ability to take initiative and prioritize shifting requirements.

This is a 12 month contract to start with a high possibility of long term extension.

Core Responsibilities:
* Daily Supply & Inventory Management
o Integrate the Sales Forecast into the Supply plan and drive Supply out to terminals and
wholesale
o Prioritize shipping locations as required. Driven by rack capacity, sales demand, and
projected volumes
o Track and record inventory volumes at Pounders and 3rd party terminals
o Maintain the production plan on a weekly basis and host bi-monthly planning meetings
o Determine balance of terminal fill, retail and wholesale volumes based on sales forecast and
operations capacity
o Forward outlook and forecasting on inventory positions
o Coordinate between the plant managers, sales, logistics representatives and the refinery to
globally manage all product orders to the terminals
o Daily rail and truck operations support - work closely with logistics to balance movement of
product
o Work with different groups with different priorities to push the First Plan

* Management of heavy oil supply inventory reconciliation
o Direct contact for all 3rd party suppliers:
o Liaise between 3rd parties and logistics to manage inbound supply
o Reconciliation of exchange and supply agreement volumes
o Provide necessary 3rd party records to accounting
o Track and report on all 3rd party inventory volumes

* Reporting
o Update the Crude Run Forecast monthly
o Update the Position Report monthly
o Update the Asphalt Nominations Monthly
o Create and manage inventory and supply dashboards
o Create and report on supply and operational related KPI's
o Responsible for updating SMS terminal contracts (freight, handling fees, fuel surcharge)
o Creation and maintenance of Pounder terminal profiles

* Implementation and Optimization of Superior Refinery into existing Network
o Familiarize with and learn new Refinery systems and their requirements
o Run analytics on logistics models to minimize current logistics costs and explore new opportunities with expanded network
o Integrate Superior personnel and processes into current Supply Plans
o Maintain an overall Network view to ensure inventories are optimized and in the correct locations

Requirements:
5-7 years' experience in Network Planning and/or Commodity - understands supply and distribution of products o 5-7 years' of logistics experience in railway and/or operations o Strong analytical and reporting abilities; intermediate to advanced MS Excel knowledge (formulas)

Lead Pipeline Planning Engineer

Responsibilities include:

Providing planning support during the execute stage of the Pipeline work in Azerbaijan and Georgia. Oversight of Pipeline Contractor's Planning group and systems; verification of contractor reported progress; and ensure contractor compliance with contractual planning, scheduling and reporting requirements as detailed in the Project Coordination Procedure

Minimum Req:

  • Higher National Certificate/ Higher National Diploma (HNC/ HND)
  • 15 years planning and project control with at least one major pipeline construction project completed.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and other planning and scheduling

Desired:

  • Degree in Science, Engineering or similar discipline (e.g. Quantity Surveying)

Reporting to the Engineering Lead you will design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot communications equipment. ­ The equipment includes but is not limited to the following: ­ Marine Navigation Systems, VHF / UHF Radio, Navigational Aids, Satellite and Microwave Communications, CCTV Systems, Environmental Monitoring Systems, Entertainment Systems, and Utilities (UPS)

The successful candidate's background will include the completion of an Electrical Engineering Degree or a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and 4 years experience, ideally in the area of Communications and/or Navigation. Experience in the offshore oil and gas industry is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interpret client needs and then explore, analyze, and introduce design concepts, cost effective solutions, and innovative methods
  • Complete detailed technical analysis and review of solutions (including, but not limited to, drawings, specifications, design studies, technical reports, Inspection and Test Plans, test results, etc.) to verify conformity with the Scope of Work and project design criteria
  • Be a technical expert reference in discussions with Clients and Suppliers, and respond to technical queries related to design criteria
  • Assist in the installation and implementation of equipment; following client approved documentation including design and construction documents, inspection plans, procedures and checklists
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, technical specifications, drawings and any installation and commissioning procedures as defined in workpacks, along with inspection and test plans

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Communications and/or Navigation.
  • Electrical Engineering Degree or a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registered to practice by PEGNL in the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador or registration as Professional Technologist (PTech) with AETTNL
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, codes and standards
  • Good knowledge of relevant engineering principles, standards and regulations relating to design, construction, and safety standards in Newfoundland & Labrador
  • Strong background with resolution of technical issues during project planning and execution phases

Compensation and Benefits Plans

  • Creates the overall strategy for compensation and benefits ensuring alignment with other employment polices client wide to ensure the acquisition and retention of the human resources needed for the business.
  • Ensure effective implementation of approved compensation & benefit plans across Mubadala Petroleum within set timelines to facilitate achievement of organizational objectives.

  • A bachelor's degree preferably in HR, A Master Degree is an added advantage. A Professional qualification in Global Remuneration Professional (GRP). Extensive knowledge and understanding of the global upstream industry and its key drivers and structures the value chain, the market, the players etc

Skills:

  • Fully competent in organisational design, job evaluation, market surveys and the design of compensation and benefit programmes including long term incentives, Demonstrated ability to design and deliver employment policies in an international environment, Resolution of grievance and complaints, Design and delivery of performance appraisal and management process linked to remuneration and incentives, Good business comprehension and the ability to design HR strategy to support it. 5-7 years of HR generalist role of which 2-3 should have been in compensation and benefit area. Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst role supports the ongoing pricing and pricing related reporting and analytic requirements for retail, cardlock, bulk, and wholesale customers. The role further supports the Canadian Product Marketing business units by maintain and ensuring accuracy in the SMS database and other systems for location, pricing, and customer information, processing ancillary income (rent) and invoices as well as administering lease agreements. This individual will work closely with the Fuel Pricing team and various internal stakeholders to execute the testing of systems and current processes and where required document/implement new processes. It is also required that accuracy in databases and spreadsheets is maintained via auditing processes and participation in project work is expected. Core responsibilities:

  • Complete timely and accurate pricing and reporting for transfer, supply, contract, channel, and customer pricing for the required frequency; daily, weekly, monthly
  • Monitor and audit for accuracy, all related databases and information
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of lease databases and publishing of leases to implement process improvements as required
  • Investigate and resolution of billing and database discrepancies or system issues. In coordination with various departments and external stakeholders provide extensive testing to validate changes to programs, data, tables, and processes in the SMS environment or web portals
  • Participate and implement thoughtful solutions to improve or execute business changes to processes

This individual will work collaboratively with Operations, Marketing and other departments to develop and deliver training for: retailers, gas station customer service representatives, and retail operations staff, utilizing web-based, remote, on-site, and classroom training. Electrical Construction Lead

Petroplan is actively recruiting for an Electrical Construction Lead to work for a large Oil & Gas company.

This role will require a seasoned and chartered Electrical Engineer to provide direction to the electrical design team and fabricator to ensure that the topsides and structures are designed, fabricated and installed safely, complying with regulations and operator's standards.

This role does require a professional with previous engineering leadership experience and must have worked on topsides construction previously.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

- Champion construction safety at fabrication site through regular walk downs. Ensure compliance with design.

- Ensure on-schedule delivery of key electrical equipment to site, supporting fabrication schedule.

- Provide company oversight of package FATs and support commissioning with site integration testing.

- Coordinate vendor support activities.

- Responsible for all electrical equipment and package layout considerations.

Requirements:

- Chartered Electrical Engineer (or equivalent).

- Previous experience working on a topsides construction project.

- Knowledge of document management systems.

- Experience of other disciplines, particularly: Process Piping, Instruments, Telecommunications, Control Systems, Mechanical, Commissioning, Construction and Operation.

Key Role Accountabilities

  • Coordinating all rotational travel requirements to meet Iraq travellers' rotational and business requirements in Iraq in accordance with the relevant policies and processes.
  • Processing Armed Protection Teams for airport moves on Vantage in aligning with commercial flight requirement.
  • Ensure travellers receive their confirmed itineraries, invoices and Commercial Flight Authorisations (CFA), following up on any queries.
  • Communicating processes and policies to travellers. Supporting them with the end to end travel processes per their specific requirements for Iraq.
  • Manage travellers expectations for travel to Iraq and address any concerns they may have with them and notifying Iraq Travel Lead accordingly.
  • Monitor pre-travel compliance requirements are in place and in date prior to booking any travel, advising travellers of compliance queries and requirements accordingly.
  • Working with Travellers and Iraq Travel Lead to ensure travellers profiles and details are correct and up to date.
  • Full understanding of Vantage System to ensure accuracy and adherence to data protection and confidentiality.
  • Full understanding of APEX reporting system to produce relevant reports and support Person on Board (POB) management.
  • Work closely with Iraq Travel Lead and Security Chief Training Officer for all HET Foundation and Refresher course requirements and pre-mobilisation communications ensuring travellers are mobilized with clear understanding of processes and expectations on arrival in Iraq.
  • Managing and executing all onboarding documentation on and off line for all travellers who fall under Security and Life Support.

Climate Science and Sustainability Project coordinator

Petroplan are looking to recruit a Environmental Project Coordinator within the Climate Science and Sustainability sector, to work in Surrey England on a contract basis to start ASAP.


This role will coordinate the short term projects that are key to providing the business with science based evidence on which to make business decisions. The role is part of a critical programme focused on understanding the impact of a changing climate on the business. You will be part of the Climate Change and Sustainable Technologies team and apply knowledge of science, technology and policy etc. to help steer investment decisions and manage risk in the existing portfolio.


In particular, this role will focus on coordinating the projects that are undertaken by the team. The Climate Science and Sustainability Project coordinator will report to the Climate Science and Sustainability Manager.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Environmental isses and societal impacts (ideally in the extractive industries)
  • Proven history of managing and delivering technical project work
  • Degree (Engineering or Science) and /or Masters
