Requirements:

  • Generate fundamental maps such as tops and thickness, as well as detailed maps and cross sections
  • Construct field drilling development maps to scale


Business Development Duties:

Job Management:

ROLE PURPOSE:

Develop, implement, supervise and coordinate the delivery of all legal administrative support to the Legal & Compliance Unit with a direct responsibility for critical and complex tasks.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Development

  • Develop new procedures to improve the administration of the Legal & Compliance Unit


Develop, supervise and streamline the documentation and filing system for all legal documents, including uploading of all historical documents to facilitate accurate retrieval
Implementation

  • Develop a Document Reference Manual to formalise existing practices and assist new joiners including the following components:
    • Original document tracking policy;
    • Document naming convention policy;
    • Standardisation requirements for execution documents policy;
    • Standardization style for binding policy;

Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of all direct reports to ensure Legal & Compliance Unit members receive timely and professional support to maintain smooth and efficient working of the Legal & Compliance Unit

Job Purpose


To provide high level of understanding of legal and technical issues in order to resolve disputes and resolve complex commercial issues.
Responsible for high value commercial activities including the tendering procedures, change management, contract preparation, negotiation of terms and conditions and provide practical commercial solutions to any claims or disputes. Lead the Contract Commitment Team (CCT) in the preparation of sourcing strategy, tender board memo's and post contract performance reviews throughout the contracts active lifecycle. Key Accountabilities:

  • Actively participate in developing various standard contract formats, policies and procedures for contracting and procurement functions, contracting and procurement strategies that will ensure maximum benefit and added value to the company
  • Independently manage the full sourcing process from strategy development and implementation through award of contracts, including post award activities, contract administration, contract management and contract closure. Undertake all formal contracting activities relating to onshore/offshore service/work contracts including developing strategies, compiling bidders' list, developing appropriate tender documents, issuing of Invitation to Tender (ITT), analysis of tenders, commercial evaluation, contract negotiations and the preparation of contractual documentation.
  • Liaise with and challenge the technical team to manage and execute contract changes, variations and claims in order to mitigate progress interruptions, extensions of time, failure to meet contract obligations and avoid unnecessary cost overruns by undertaking post-award contract administration including drafting and processing of amendments, variations and obtaining internal approvals. Contribute to the process of continuous improvement in the contracting process.
  • Develop and execute post award contract performance management in conjunction with department managers and users
  • Develop highly positive and constructive relationships with key contacts.
  • Identify areas of improvement in contracts management and participate in regular meetings with users in order to keep track of all the processes and drive improvements with the Head of Commercial and Business Planning

Educational Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor of Science degree required; Law Degree preferred.

Experience Profile:

  • 10 years' contracts experience in oil and gas operations or similar industries.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of tenders/contracts of small/medium/large scale projects with complexity and diversity

I am currently recruiting for a well versed Inside Sales Coordinator to join a large machining and manufacturing company located here in Houston, TX. This is going to be a permanent, full time opportunity. The following responsibilities and requirements are as followed:

  • Assist new and existing customers with support
  • Support the outside sales team

  • Inputting data into the ERP system

Reservoir Engineer - Waterflood

Petroplan is currently searching for a Senior Reservoir Engineer on behalf of one of our key clients in Houston, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected and growing production company that provides excellent compensation, benefits, and career growth. Prospective candidates must have extensive experience working with CO2 and waterflood. Also, experience working on US conventional shale play Permian or East Texas. This position will be based in the downtown office with the occasional travel to the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimating reserves and generating forecasts for property evaluations and development planning.
  • Generating and managing auditing of the companies SEC reserves reporting.
  • Experience with waterflood recovery analytical prediction methods
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining a successful economic waterflood
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment with great communication skills
  • Candidate must be a team player
  • Quick problem solver with ability to manage heavy load

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as Reservoir Engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with CO2 and waterflood
  • Bachelor's Degree: Engineering Degree is preferable
  • Strong communicator able to effectively present and discuss ideas with Executive-level audience
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA with no sponsorship required
