Responsibilities:
  • Gather data as it pertains to manufacturing quality, lead time, on-time, and customer satisfaction performance.
  • Develop or improve work instructions, assembly, test, or training procedures, routers, and other manufacturing documentation to enhance customer satisfaction and manufacturing performance.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within manufacturing processes working in a quality related environment
  • Knowledge of and experience reviewing Material Test Report (MTR) to ASME and other industry standards.
  • Knowledge of and experience reviewing Non-Destructive Test(NDE) Report to NDE procedures (like Penetrant testing, Magnetic particle testing, hardness testing, Ultrasound testing and Radiography testing procedures)

Work with process engineers to develop processes to maximize operational efficiency.

Work with process team to implement and integrate new/improved process workflow.

Maintain documentation for new and improved processes for reference purposes.

Interact and coordinate with process engineering team to resolve yield and quality issues.

Communicate process data and actions through meetings, presentations, and reports to management.

Monitor process stability through ongoing review of yield and quality performance metrics.

Assist Engineers in process improvement and integration techniques.

Work closely with Refining West to identify product matching and process alignment issues during all phases and drive for solutions

Collaborate with technology development partners in defining goals, developing the vision and aligning strategy

Identify key process weaknesses and perform fine tuning on existing processes for continuous improvement to yield/quality/productivity and cost

Guide engineering teams in troubleshooting and resolving specific performance or yield issues.

Our client is a growing oil and gas exploration operator who is looking to expand their dynamic procurement team by bringing on an experienced Senior Contract Negotiator.
In the role of the Senior Contract Negotiator you will work closely within the procurement team to support the business' contractual requirements. Other jobs duties will include:

  • Coordinating with Legal, Tax, and Accounting to ensure that all contracts represent the companies financial and risk tolerance.
  • Facilitating contract compliance by insuring proper communication of requirements.
  • Providing general contractual/commercial advice to business team members.


Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior Oil and Gas exploration experience, as well as a Juris Doctorate Degree. Other useful requirements would be:

  • Previous knowledge of drilling, exploration, and production in contract negotiating
  • Must be knowledgeable of US onshore contracts
  • A minimum of 5 years' of experience with domestic contracts
  • Previous experience as a contract lead on major projects

In this position, you will work in a small dynamic and cross functional team to develop and design technology for new downhole tools. You will be expected to develop specifications, generate and evaluate options for mechanical design of components and specific technologies while also identifying opportunities to outsource specific. Key challenges will include:

  • Developing technical specifications for all new and existing products
  • Design, develop, analyze and document product designs which meet the functional, cost, reliability, manufacturability and safety requirements of the product.
  • Acquire and apply skills necessary to design, develop and introduce new products with the greatest possible design margins and in the shortest amount of time.
  • Identifies, quantifies, and implements tools, methods, processes and equipment, which improve the quality, reliability and performance of the product.

You must have at least 6 years of experience, including recent experience in oil and gas operations working as a Mechanical Engineer on Research and Development.
