Job Description

On behalf of An Operator Petroplan are looking for an Asset Planner to be based in Kurdistan, the role will be on a contractual basis and offering a competitive rate.

Job Overview

Provide Planning, progress measurement and reporting support to the Development team both in the home office and field locations

Responsibilities;

The position holder will be required to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support of engineering and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the ongoing development of the level 3 Schedule.
2. Prepare regular updates to the Level 3 schedule to ensure that it covers all known scope and reflects the current status and measured progress.
3. Prepare high level schedule and progress information as required for inclusion in management presentations.
4. Prepare and update engineering, procurement and construction progress measurement documentation for all in house managed scopes of work.
5. Issue regular management reports covering near, medium and long term critical activities and potential schedule bottlenecks.
6. Review, comment on and validate Contractor's progress measurement systems and regular reports.
7. Ensure that their own work is of high quality and is delivered according to deadlines.
8. Always promote safe behaviour.
9. Engage fully in all company provided training activities or courses.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree
    2. Previous relevant work experience in both field and office locations and within a similar environment.
    Skills
    1. Strong Command of English Language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
    2. Hands on experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
    3. Highly computer literate with a detailed knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
    4. Ability to understand and interpret all manner of engineering drawings and documentation.
    5. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
    6. Willing to train with aspirations for personal advancement.

Petroplan are looking to hire a Business Unit Medical Advisor to work in remot Iraq for a major Oil and Gas industry player.

You will be based in the office and on a rotation of 29 days / 27 days

To apply you must have remote location working experience and 5 years clinical work experience in an Emergency medicine and Primary Healthcare setting, 10 years in delivering clinical education / training and mentoring relevant to remote locations.

This will be on an unlimited contract basis.

You must also hold a Master's Degree (MSc.) in an advanced Clinical / Medical field and a current internationally recognized professional registration with a relevant national regulatory body, e.g. HCPC or NREMT.

Sustainability Engineer

Petroplan is seeking to hire a Sustainability Engineer for on of its clients

Job Purpose:
The Sustainability Engineer (SE) supports the Sustainability Manager in all aspects of sustainability, including the sustainability strategy, green funding, TCFD and environmental reporting, ESG, carbon trading, green and offsetting projects.
The SE helps to ensure that the company follows the latest global, regional and local developments in terms of sustainability in particular with regards to respective legislation and mandatory legislation. Job Requirements:

  • B.E. / B.TECH. / B.S. / Master / Dipl.-Ing. or adequately in a similar engineering subject
  • Master in Business Studies as for example MBA
  • Preference in legal studies
  • Minimum 15 years in Energy, including Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / mining industry with experience including sustainability, ESG, carbon trading, green funding, and legal aspects
  • Hands on experience in implementing sustainability in Energy including oil and gas production facilities / Petrochemical / mining
  • Conversant with international ESG standards, TCFD, SASB, equator principles, GHG Protocol, IPIECA, API, IEA, etc.
