Ignition Developer - expert knowledge of creating complex HMI templates and displays using Inductive Automation's Ignition software.
Ability to explaining HMI developments while also considering the client's other requirements is required

• Design and develop HMI systems built around the Ignition platform using SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other languages and technologies.
• Design and develop within multiple technologies, including but not limited to:
  • Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
  • Custom applications (C#, .NET, etc.)
• Develop and configure interfaces with third-party software tools such as OPC servers
• Provide detailed documentation to clients on system design and programming

What You Might Have Done Before

This position is with a large Energy client with offices in Houston, while the position itself will be located in The Woodlands (Greater Houston area). Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week onsite is required (work structure flexible).

• The IEC Application Developer must have strong ACP (Advanced Computing Systems) experience
• Ability to work in Kubernetes containers, and experience doing so, is required

Description: Senior LNG Project Manager

Contract: Initially 12 months, potential extension

Location: Working between Houston and Calgary. Flexibity available.

North America is in a great position to gain global market share because of the increased demand for energy in China, India, and Southeast Asia; abundant resources; and its ability to produce the most ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) friendly energy in the world. This facilitates more supply to export markets, especially LNG.

The fundamentals of LNG are contributing to growth opportunities. Our opportunities related to LNG and their export range from the US Gulf coast to British Columbia, Canada, which represents plentiful gas reserves and a great proximity to Asia markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

The experienced Senior LNG Project Manager will be part of the Major Projects team, supporting the development, execution, and governance of LNG Projects, providing direct influence and detailed line of sight on project risk management.

This person will represent interest on development opportunities; day-to-day execution of projects; provide oversite on behalf of leadership for the execution of project post-FID through handover to operations.

Success in this role will be achieved by developing a sustainable, ongoing, trust-based relationship with leadership, project sponsor, project execution teams, and project partners in the safe, transparent, and predictable delivery of the project execution plan.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Reviews and provides feedback related to how projects in both development and execution phases are tracking/adhering to the project execution plans and all other aspects of project execution, including HSSE, quality, project services, procurement, subcontracts, regulatory and permitting, interface management, early works, site construction, logistics, commissioning and handover to operation.
• Analyzes situations, identifies, and forecasts pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend appropriate course of action for projects in development and execution.

o Identifies problems and solutions in each phase - detailed design/engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.

• Reviews and provides feedback, when appropriate, into the project schedule; the approved budget for services; the approved budgets for equipment and bulk material quantities.
• Provides input into proposed contract variations to ensure development and execution considerations are being appropriately reflected for projects being considered as investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) project management or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed
• Demonstration of successful performance as project manager on a minimum of two (2) medium sized projects or multiple project assignments in a significant role on large sized EPFC/CM projects - LNG project and marine facilities project experience is preferred
• Has strong knowledge/experience on project design, engineering, procurement, material management, construction, commissioning, start up, turn over work processes, sequencing, and interfaces of LNG, gas compression and gas processing facilities
• Worked on $1.0 Billion EPC projects
• Able to balance technical decision making with commercial considerations to protect the project goals, objectives, cost, and schedule
• Project Controls and Finance including understanding of:

o Scheduling (including manpower loading)

o Progress measurement

o Risk assessment and management

o Work breakdown structure

o Change management

o Cost control

o Estimating process and planning

o Understanding of project funding

• Experience with multiple commercial executions structures including Lump Sum/Reimbursable/Guaranteed Maximum price (Gmax)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 years Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, and Category Management experience or equivalent primarily focused on Upstream Oil and Gas industry, with an emphasis on (offshore and onshore) Drilling and Completions.
• Strong commercial and negotiating skills
• Strong computer skills including SAP, Ariba, Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzing and validating mineral ownership, conveyance documents, property and production information related to our core business processes. This includes review of all leases and related contracts captured in Quorum Land System and how to obtain and apply that information.
• Perform revision and maintenance of all division order information in SAP/PRA which includes understanding and manipulating unit tracts, bearer groups, and all other related system required data in SAP/PRA.
• Performing revisions and maintenance of all Joint Interest Billing information, including the understanding and managing of carried interests.
• Support and collaboration with our Finance colleagues by making ownership information available to allow for accurate and timely processing of production volumes, production revenue, and joint interest billing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of oil and gas experience preferably in division order.
• Experience with PRA/SAP, and Quorum Land Systems is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferable or commensurate experience. Certifications or degrees in the following are also a plus: Law, Petroleum Land Management, Lease and Title Analyst, Division Order Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of land administration including: Division Order Title Opinions, Revenue and JIB deck setup & Maintenance, Lease, royalty, and joint interest partner concepts, Laws and regulatory provisions related to oil and gas extraction, Contract administration
• Exposure to oil and gas operations.
• Understand how to calculate all division of interest ownership types and burdens.
• Understand all related contracts including the connection to before and after payout calculations.
• Understand the essential requirements of ownership transfers and be able to interpret the effects of a wide range of ownership-transfer documents.

The discipline engineer works closely with the Client's Technical Authority to ensure technical quality and the application of practical, operable, and innovative technology by the engineering contractors. The discipline engineer also helps to ensure contractor engineering discipline work is completed in an efficient manner and supports project schedule milestones. The discipline engineer's roles and responsibilities include:

• Provides safety leadership enforcing the Client's Health, Safety , and Environmental policies, procedures, and objectives to ensure that I and C designs are inherently safer, risks are reduced, and HSE requirements are satisfied.
• Provides leadership, along with the Clients' Technical Authority, for the overall instrument and control design efforts.
• Develops instrument design practices and philosophies including overall control schemes and shutdown philosophies.
• Ensures that appropriate design specifications and standards are being used in the design process.

• Must have a minimum of 10 years industry experience. Upstream oil/gas experience is desired. Offshore oil and gas deepwater experience is a plus
• Candidate should have extensive experience with instrumentation and controls in process industry, especially design, installation and calibration of pressure sensing, fire and gas, level sensing and valve actuation.
• Candidate must be able to read, review, redline and create P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, cause and effect drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Candidate must have ladder logic and functional block programming experience.
• Experience in Management of Change ⣎principles and processes to successfully deliver improvements and modifications
• Experience in root cause failure assessments for instrumentation equipment
• Knowledge of functional safety is a plus (Hazop/LOPA, SIL verification, SRS)
• Technical knowledge of electrical equipment and Systems in Hazardous Areas
