Job Overview;

As Quantity Surveyor you'll be responsible for all Contract Management and Administration activities

Job Purpose:

  • Measurement and valuation of works for fixed price, open book and target cost projects.
  • Interim payment assessments
  • Assisting Project Controls in Invoice Preparation to the customer.
  • Payment audits
  • Analysis and report writing
  • Development and application of construction cost estimating for changes during the construction/commissioning
  • Use of Microsoft Excel to develop data collection, costing and estimating
  • spreadsheets
  • The collection, collation and analysis of construction cost data, using asset management hierarchies and statistical analysis techniques

Job requirements:

  • Extensive QS experience in the oil & gas sector in a similar role. Prior experience of working with I Chem E Burgundy book contracts

  • IOSH training or equivalent is desirable

As a Lead Document Controller you'll be reporting to PMC Projects Controller Manager and works under his direction working on the Red Sea project.

Responsibilities -

  • Ensuring HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
  • Safe delivery and handover of the project to the owner, suitability, safely on time, within budget, ensuring that a quality product is produced that represents 'best value' for the owner and their stakeholders.
  • To act as a focal point for the receipt, registering, sorting, archiving and retrieval of all project documents related to the project.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all necessary administrative support services for the project.
  • Monitor, lead and follow up activities related to the administration and management of technical documentation for the project from the conception through to hand over, to ensure that all project documents are properly organized and maintained with the required level of integrity and confidentially.
  • Administer all project official documents with owner and the ECP contractor and provide logistics coordination and support to the owner and PMC teams.

  • Receives and stores all documents in accordance with the establish procedures. Identifies and segregates all documents by project number and files in accordance with the Project numbering system.   • Assist PMC personnel in locating and retrieving documents from archives and ensure their safe return
  • Liaise with PMC personnel to ensure the receipt of complete documents, updated drawings, specifications or other project documents in accordance with specific EPC Contract conditions.
  • Prepare and follow up requisitions for all documents, drawings and printing needs.
  • Maintain monitoring systems for all incoming technical documents from ECP contractor.
  • Establish and maintain listing of all project technical documents, specifications and drawings.
  • Supervise control and monitor all incoming and outgoing project documents, reproduction and distribution to the owner, PMC team and the EPC Contractor.
  • Use of scanner for conversation of all key documents to electronic files/PDF for easy access and distribution.
  • Identify all documents that need retention or removal from the Project documentation room.
  • Manage the archiving systems for the department documentation room and evaluate and recommend the methods for archiving, cross indexing and cataloguing of all documents and drawings.
  • Ensure the proper follow up of the as built status of the documents and participate with the ECP contractor in categorizing these documents.
  • Maintain up to date copies of PMC and owner processes and specifications.
  • Arrange, segregate and issue drawings, Vendors manuals and all documents to the relevant owner concerned teams.
  • Coordinate the proper handling tracking of owner technical documentation.
  • Maintain close liaison and coordination with construction sites and other owner concerned teams to ensure that all project requirements are adhered to during project execution and ensure the smooth handover of completed documentation, as - builts to operations and maintenance teams at project close out.
  • Liaise with the ECP contractor, Vendors and Suppliers to ensure the receipt of complete documents, updated drawings and specifications or other relevant documents in accordance with the specifications, and conditions of the EPC contract.
  • Coordination and follow up for the timely completion of all project documentation related to activities e.g. document revision and updating, EPC contract and its amendments finalization correspondence with stakeholders, EPC Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors.
  • Closely monitor and coordinate the different documents and drawings received from the EPC contractor, Vendors and Suppliers to ensure that project documentation is in accordance with the agreed deliverables register and clarify any queries or problems that might arise.



Qualifications & Experience -

  • 12 years experience as a Document Controller.
  • Experience in being able to monitor, lead and follow up activities related to the administration and management of technical documentation for the project from the conception through to hand over, to ensure that all project documents are properly organized and maintained with the required level of integrity and confidentially.

On behalf of An Oil and Gas Company Petroplan are looking for a Logistics Coordinator based in their offices in Hungary on an annual renewable contractual basis.

Requirements:

  • Work with the Client (cross-functional supply chain representatives) regularly via participation in optimization of daily order and shipment planning
  • Maintain project freight estimate, logistics plan and accurate cost tracking.
  • Ensure orders and shipments are optimized via the TMS and other client provided peripheral tools. Orders and shipments are to be planned and covered for timely and in-full service to the end customer.
  • Facilitate communications/coordination between internal customer groups and external carrier contacts to ensure attainment of service level objectives. Focus efforts on timely pick-up/delivery and overall partner happiness.
  • Monitor data flows between ERP system, TMS, and WMS systems to ensure synchronization for successful transportation execution.
  • Identify Gaps in transportation capacity and initiate accurate measures with the Transportation Capacity Planning team.
  • Lead aspects of application of carrier performance management programs and techniques; providing reporting, documentation, and recommendations to drive improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow EHS directives and warn others to follow them, execute mandatory EHS training and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required

Our Client an International Gas Power Company are looking for x2 Logistics System Specialist (Systems support) to be based in Budapest, Hungary or Remotely (must be based in the EU). The roles are offered with 18-month contracts and negotiable hourly rates.

Job Overview;

Logistics System Specialist (Systems support) will support the overall logistics for process execution, adherence, and standardization.

Job Purpose:

  • Create, modify, and maintain updates for all transportation management & planning systems training material for all users
  • Facilitate transition planning and go-live needs with Client business leaders to mitigate risk to shipment fulfilment.
  • Participate in workouts to drive process standardization across businesses & identify benefits.
  • Support master data validation (Customers, Supplier, Item/Commodities, Locations) and volume ramp up strategy development.
  • Support development and improvement to new business integration methods.
  • Provide routine updates to initiatives project manager on project tasks, milestones, risks, and changes.
  • Attend meetings to assist in the review, root case and documentation of system and process failures.
  • Coordinate training and testing cycles in preparation for go-live roll out.
  • Support all performance metrics and report out at defined frequencies (i.e., weekly, monthly, etc)
  • Liaise amongst business leaders/team members, logistics operations, and Oracle
  • development team to ensure consistency in expectations, needs, and desired outcome.
  • Leverage appropriate Logistics resources and processes to contribute to implementation planning & execution.

Job requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in logistics activities in engineering/construction/manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills and working under tight timelines; multi-tasking abilities; and exception-based management capability.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and transportation planning business drivers, organization structures and transportation key performance Indicators.

Job Overview;

Logistics Specialist (Routing) will support the overall logistics for process execution, adherence, and standardization.

Job Purpose:

  • Route freight from pickup to delivery locations. Receive information about availability of material, goods, products within the scope to be transported from the Company's or other locations (suppliers, clients, other parties) via Company owned logistics or planning systems
  • Interact with Company Logistics, approved Carriers, Brokers and/or Freight Forwarders providing and /or supporting to get all required information and documentation as needed for customs clearance for international shipments (import and export), following Company Customs team directions and guidelines where applicable
  • Actively monitor and approve freight charges to identify process behaviours and assess conformance to routing instructions and service level requirements.
  • Send RFQs for spot quotes to relevant LSPs in accordance with the Company's competitive bidding policy whenever the Company contracted rates cannot be applied on a shipment
  • Manage along with tracking in system to ensure visibility and accountability of assets and on-time delivery, support good receipt and revenue tracking
  • Follow EHS directives and warn others to follow them, execute mandatory EHS training and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required

Job requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management.

Our client a EPC company is looking for a construction engineer to join their team on a contract basis in their office in Basingstoke. The role is offered with an hourly rate inside IR35 & are looking for someone to start ASAP.

As such they expect a minimum of 60% home working to be available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

Requirements -

  • Experience of technical and team leadership within a project environment working in the Oil and Gas Industry either as a Contractor or Oil Company Personnel.
  • Experience preferred in Upstream Engineering.
  • Technically competent in all aspects of electrical engineering
  • (Power Generation, Distribution).
  • Experience in Concept, Basic/FEED and PMC projects for
  • Oil & Gas (on-shore and off-shore).
  • Experience in development of power system studies and specifications (e.g. Load flow, short circuit, motor starting analysis); design of power HV & LV distribution systems for electrical networks; electrical equipment specifications/datasheets for main tagged equipment; substation, switch room and plant layout design; electrical surveys for O&G plants; preparation of requisitions for electrical equipment; technical appraisal of Vendor/EPIC bids for electrical equipment/ scope.
  • Fully conversant with IEC standards and "Oil & Gas" standard practices (e.g. IOGP).



Qualifications & experience -

  • Degree / Masters of Electrical Engineering.
  • Member of a relevant Institution, Preferred Chartered Eng.
  • Brownfield plant design
  • ETAP (basic knowledge as a minimum)
