Description:
The Mechanical/Piping coordinator will be responsible for mechanical and piping construction coordination and execution of the Rebuild Project.
The Mechanical/Piping will coordinate the Contractors' daily work include planning, organizing, directing and controlling methods of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, work schedule and documentations.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for Safety guidance and enforcement of site rules and regulations.
Responsible for coordinating contractor activities and ensuring performance in accordance with work packages and instructions
Ensures coordinators bring RFI's to closure, and contractors work complies with project requirements, specifications and / or drawings
Participate in construction incident investigation and corrective actions
Coordinate Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS)
Monitor and follow the Superior Refinery Emergency Response Plan
Provide input and monitor the construction schedule, including identifying potential problems and impacts to the schedule
Provide input and support mitigations of identified construction risk items

Certifications
Appropriate Trade designation / certification - Journeyman designation as a minimum
Other relevant post-secondary education in construction management, advanced degree or equivalent experience will be considered in total experience

Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience on large capital projects
  • Proven track record of success as an effective leader and construction professional
  • Strong technical competency at the planning, execution and completion levels
  • Proven practical knowledge of current project and construction management tools and practices (e.g. cost management systems, scheduling, estimating, risk tools, constructability, etc.)
  • An understanding of the competitive environment and ideally bring an extensive personal network of contacts in the EPC, Oil and Gas and related large-scale process industries while understanding the issues and challenges is required
  • Has experience with various labor postures in Owner and Contractor organizations
  • Recognized participation in industry organizations such as CII, COAA, IPA, etc.

Job Responsibilites:

Supports the Performance Testing Lab serving as the primary in-house contact for shipping and receiving (all precision instruments used for all on-site Performance Testing projects and misc equipment, consumables, and materials). we are an energy industry leader, is engaged in the worldwide exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas. currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of SAP/PM technician to work in our Houston, TX office and support the company's GHG reporting requirements. The focus of the position includes assisting with Equipment tracking and improving related processes to support GHG reporting requirements. This position will be part of a small central team supporting the assets. The position requires the ability to prioritize work and problem-solving skills in addition to working independently.

Responsibilities:
* Utilize the SAP PM application to keep equipment lists up to date for both existing and new facilities, and drive other support teams to provide required input
* Assist the field Planning and Scheduling teams to develop efficient use of SAP PM tool
* Develop, or support the development of the various preventive maintenance tasks, and make recommendations for process improvements
* Work with all field Maintenance Teams and Operations to ensure learnings are shared across the asset, and that maintenance procedures are optimized and efficient
* Assist with training of field and office personnel in the effective use of SAP PM and Click for new employees as well as when changes are applied
* Add major equipment to SAP PM structure/hierarchy
* Act as a coordinator for planned activities and is one of the principal contacts between the Maintenance, Engineering and Operations teams
* Review and improve the maintenance and planning processes to improve efficiency and develop related guidelines, processes, and procedures
* Become a subject matter expert for SAP PM and Click to effectively accomplish and document required maintenance in an efficient and organized manner

Preferred requirements:
* Three (3) years' experience in O&G preferably Operations or Maintenance
* Computer proficiency with SAP PM and the Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong customer focus
* A high degree of self-direction & motivation
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills
* Organization and prioritization know-how
* Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
* A high degree of understanding of various field maintenance activities
* Providing technical support for ongoing field development within the asset
* Ability to effectively communicate with engineers, field personnel, planning, and other teams internal and external to Marathon Oil
* Limited travel to field locations and field offices

Position: Environmental Compliance

Petroplan is currently working with a growth oriented upstream Oil and Gas business in Houston who need a highly experienced Environmental Compliance Consultant to their operation division to assist with the ongoing permitting across a number of their domestic US operations.

This company has assets across the domestic United States and is looking to add an experienced Environmental Compliance professional to assist with the ongoing operations and requirements of the team. This role will work closely with several senior leaders within the business and be vital in working to establish new processes and procedures where they see fit.

Some key responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:

  • Become familiar with all aspects of the Clean Air Act (CAA) Consent Decree to understand injunctive terms/requirements, reporting requirements, etc
  • This position will be charged with framing up project objectives/scope and then working with teams to develop plans to complete projects (i.e. developing plans, identifying timelines, reporting on progress, etc.).
  • Prepare routine reports.
  • Develop audit protocols and perform process and documentation audits to ensure compliance with the CAA Consent Decree requirements

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience
  • 5 years Management System experience required (i.e. Hands-on experience in developing or maturing a company's HES/Operational Management System, PSM Program, etc.)
