The primary responsibility of the position will support the Operations team in the implementation of a quality process and stewardship of QA-QC activities as related to assigned project. Description:
This Technician position is an individual contributor providing technical support for the Bakken asset, reporting though the Planning and Design (P&D) team.

The person in this role will work within the P&D team to integrate, QC, manage and analyze data and assist with development planning and execution. The Subsurface Technician will work with Drilling, Completions and Reservoir engineers to support well development planning and technology trial evaluation. The individual will also work closely with the Subsurface team, D&C team, and Technology team as well as the Data Management team daily to ensure databases remain organized and updated. They should be able to evaluate problems and propose solutions to rectify moderate to difficult issues. This may include developing new or innovative strategies to solve business problems within the asset/organization's framework. The candidate will be expected to work as an integrated part of the larger Bakken asset team, and collaborate with others in the internal technician community to define and promote best practices.

The primary role of the Offshore Wellsite Geologist is to monitor, QC, and integrate all the geological data being collected while drilling, i.e., cutting descriptions, LWD data, drilling data, etc., effectively managing geological data and co-managing the personnel that supply it, i.e., Mudloggers and LWD Engineers. The Wellsite Geologist also compares results with the offset well data to build an integrated understanding of the reservoir and overburden. • Facilitate material disposition/investment recovery, collaborating with Business, Finance, Vendors and Material
• Provide feedback on supplier performance to Procurement/Category Management for supplier management
• Work with Material Control and Optimization Specialist and Material Flow and Warehousing Supervisor to identify and execute opportunities to improve consistency, compliance and best practices
• Perform annual inventory counts, collaborating with the Material Control and Optimization Specialist

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree
• 3 years materials experience preferably in procurement or materials management
• Knowledge of drilling and completion projects
• Experience with inventory management, master data management
• SAP experience preferred
