Responsibilities
* Become familiar with all controlled documents required for the Bakken CAA Consent Decree and Facilities Engineering
* Responsible for assisting with the design, creation and implementation of the electronic document management system and procedures.
* Responsible for the and administration of the electronic document management system and procedures.
* Responsible for the performance and support of the document management system to ensure efficient document processing.
* Develop, manage and coordinate the necessary processes, procedures and systems for the accurate document information management within the organization.
* Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of document management functions for a project or department.
* Ensure up-to-date, reliable documentation is systematically available to all departmental, projects and interface group users; ensure proper archiving of documentation using company electronic document management system.
* Ensure procedural compliance with Marathon's Corporate Records Management Policy for receipt, record distribution and archiving of all aspects of documentation.
* Ensure maintenance of all aspects of documentation registers and records in order to provide value-added information.
* Coordinate with engineering personnel, vendors and design contractors to resolve document management problems in a timely manner.
* Control user access to document files.
* Interface with departmental and project personnel regarding document management matters, interfaces with department contractors and vendors for the coordinated submission of technical documentation.
* Provide technical support and assistance for the electronic document management system.

Competencies
* Extensive experience with electronic document management system and good documentation practices
* Ability to manage and coordinate the necessary process, procedures and systems for accurate document information management
* Knowledge of OpenText Content Server a plus
* Experience in writing procedures, process development and documentation

The primary responsibility of the position will support the Operations team in the implementation of a quality process and stewardship of QA-QC activities as related to assigned project.   • Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems and application of industry codes, standards and specifications e.g. API, NACE and ISO, API Q1/Q2 etc.
  • Certified Lead Auditor, preferred
  • LEAN Experience, Certification preferred
  • Four Year College degree in or a technical, business, or management related field, preferred.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Description:
This Technician position is an individual contributor providing technical support for the Bakken asset, reporting though the Planning and Design (P&D) team.


The person in this role will work within the P&D team to integrate, QC, manage and analyze data and assist with development planning and execution. The Subsurface Technician will work with Drilling, Completions and Reservoir engineers to support well development planning and technology trial evaluation. The individual will also work closely with the Subsurface team, D&C team, and Technology team as well as the Data Management team daily to ensure databases remain organized and updated. They should be able to evaluate problems and propose solutions to rectify moderate to difficult issues. This may include developing new or innovative strategies to solve business problems within the asset/organization's framework. The candidate will be expected to work as an integrated part of the larger Bakken asset team, and collaborate with others in the internal technician community to define and promote best practices.

ROLES &RESPONSIBLITIES

*Support P&D in pilot/technology evaluation, data management, and visualization
*Support P&D team where required with well planning process, including production planning software (SPS) and database management (Well Factory Planner)
*Assist in team communication efforts in areas such as reporting, power point slide creation and formatting
*Analyze and manage ad hoc data creating spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and databases as required
*Support development and maintenance of project metrics and dashboards

Offshore Wellsite Geologist

The primary role of the Offshore Wellsite Geologist is to monitor, QC, and integrate all the geological data being collected while drilling, i.e., cutting descriptions, LWD data, drilling data, etc., effectively managing geological data and co-managing the personnel that supply it, i.e., Mudloggers and LWD Engineers. The Wellsite Geologist also compares results with the offset well data to build an integrated understanding of the reservoir and overburden. The Wellsite Geologist also has the added responsibility as the first line in monitoring subsurface pore pressure and wellbore stability via cuttings, log observations, and drilling parameters. The Wellsite Geologist is also the primary contact between the rig and the sub-surface team in town and contributes to routine and ad-hoc meetings and communication, standard deliverables, and logistical planning.
Their daily deliverables are listed below:

  • Daily Geological Report
  • Composite Log (product of the integration of LWD, mud log data, and interpretation)
  • QC mudlogging and LWD deliverables

Wellsite Geologists also contribute to final end-of-well reporting and other deliverables and essentially draft sections while working offshore.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree in Geoscience or a related subject
  • Must have all health and safety training, including valid offshore survival course
  • Must be able to travel offshore and stay for an extended period (2-3 weeks)
  • Must have Deep Water Gulf of Mexico Experience (5 years minimum)
  • Must have basis Pore Pressure/Frac Pressure Detection Knowledge
  • Must have shallow hazards/riserless drilling experience
  • Offshore Managed Pressure Drilling experience is a plus
  • Must adhere to all safety and Covid-19 regulations

Drilling & Completions Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-time availability for Drilling & Completions materials through daily monitoring and execution of requests for equipment (REMS/SPS), and releasing/expediting requirements for defined sources of supply.
  • Mobilize assembly and movements of materials, communicating with vendors, technical teams, and logistics operations to deliver per schedule.
  • Participate in operating rhythm meetings for assigned area; provide input and drive optimal decision-making on materials order and mobilization-related scheduling needs.
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm new order releases, changes, and mobilization schedules/activities
  • Communicate with Shorebase/Warehouse/Vendor locations to confirm/advise of upcoming activity
  • Ensure SAP reflects the current information for projected material availability by maintaining changed delivery dates
  • Complete SAP transactions to move/consume materials in accordance with the physical movement of the material and defined procedures/standards
  • Optimize inventory levels through regular analysis of inventory levels and recommending procurement timing/inventory strategies for assigned materials
  • Maintain accurate planning master data on assigned materials
  • Participate in Surplus and Obsolescence review, collaborating with Material Control and Optimization Specialist, Finance and Business partners to determine status/viability of equipment.
  • Maintain SAP record of Surplus status.
  • Facilitate material disposition/investment recovery, collaborating with Business, Finance, Vendors and Material
  • Provide feedback on supplier performance to Procurement/Category Management for supplier management
  • Work with Material Control and Optimization Specialist and Material Flow and Warehousing Supervisor to identify and execute opportunities to improve consistency, compliance and best practices
  • Perform annual inventory counts, collaborating with the Material Control and Optimization Specialist

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree
  • 3 years materials experience preferably in procurement or materials management
  • Knowledge of drilling and completion projects
  • Experience with inventory management, master data management
  • SAP experience preferred
