Job Description -

My client an EPC company are looking for a Cost Estimator to join them on a permanent basis in their office in London. Working on multiple capital projects from Concept - Feed - through to EPC. The role will be offered with a negotiable salary, attractive benefits package and hybrid working patterns.

Job Overview -

You will work closely together with the team in developing the estimating discipline, the work includes development of cost estimates for ongoing and future projects & work closely across the disciplines to provide complete and efficient solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities -

• Develop cost estimates
• Liaise with other business units to extract data
• Collate & maintain company cost data and norms
• Assist in the development benchmarks
• Assist in bid evaluations
• Improve and maintain estimating methods and tools within the cost estimating function

Experience & Qualifications -

• Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
• Good understanding of construction techniques in the energy sector
• Good knowledge of various cost estimating methods and accuracies
• 3 - 5 years of experience with cost estimation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good ability in MS excel and other MS office tools
