Job Purpose
Facilitate the implementation of applicable HSE elements of the Integrated Management System
(IMS) on assigned project.
Monitor project activities in respect of legal and other HSE compliance, report identified issues
and to provide guidance / assistance to operations team as necessary.
Identify and communicate opportunities to improve HSE related IMS documents

Job Requirement
Master/Bachelor's in Engineering, or equivalent

Experience

? 20 years of experience of which at least 10 years' experience in a similar managerial role in Operation & Maintenance , oil & gas, with at least 5 years' experience on water treatment & utilities assets.
? Professional OHS Qualification Certified by NEBOSH (IGC/NGC)
? Professional OHS Qualification Certified by IOSH (Managing & Working Safely)
? Professional OHS Qualification certified by OSHA.
? Safety Management Qualification certified in ISO 45001 as lead Auditor

Petroplan are currently supporting the state owned operating company in Qatar for a degree qualified Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer. This person should hold 10 years' experience within Oil & Gas projects.

Primary Purpose of the Job
Provide technical design and engineering services in Materials & Corrosion Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with company procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Conduct Materials & Corrosion Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
2. Ensure the required technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed, in work-scopes and whilst conducting Materials & Corrosion Engineering activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices.
3. Support Engineering Department to review, update and apply company standards and amendments to external standards.
4. Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirements.
5. Co-ordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary work scopes for projects and other engineering activities. Ensure that the work-scope is comprehensive and clear.
6. Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issues.
7. Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.
8. Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
9. Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
1. B.Sc./B Eng. Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
3. 10 years' experience within Oil & Gas projects.
4. Ability to identify & utilise relevant engineering standards and codes related to Materials & Corrosion Engineering.
5. Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.

Petroplan are currently supporting the state owned operating company in Qatar for a degree qualified Interface and Risk Coordinator. This person should hold 12 years' experience in engineering, project management and execution of major and mega Oil & Gas projects.

Primary Purpose of the Job
1. Identification and management of all project related interfaces, with focus on the successful execution of the project (in terms of safety, quality, on time, within budget delivery and in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and standards).
2. Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate interface management methods, systems, and procedures for use by all project functions.
3. Take full responsibility and accountability, leadership, and excellence in the achievement of coordinating all technical interfaces associated with the Project during all Project execution stages.
4. Ensure that all interfaces are addressed in the contractual documents, and they are optimal, safe, cost effective and in compliance with the latest Codes, Standards, National and Corporate requirements, and procedures.
5. Ensure that qualitative and quantitative risks are properly identified, categorized, prioritized, and managed.
6. Provide risk management advice and expertise to the Project.
7. Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate risk management register, methods, systems, and procedures.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Provide Interface coordination support between internal and external stakeholders during project execution to meet project objectives and track progress of action items.
2. Responsible for technical interfaces with different contractors and existing facilities in coordination with the EPIC Contractor, Engineering and Technical Head's, Project Manager(s), and third-party Interface representatives as appropriate.
3. Propose and recommend appropriate solution as necessary to maintain compliance with local authority requirements.
4. Negotiate & manage complex interface issues among different project phases and the existing facilities.
5. Develop, implement, and maintain a technical Interface Management System (IMS)and technical interface Control procedure in consultation with the PTF and EPIC Contractor counterpart. Develop interface objectives, strategies, and performance indicators to ensure that the project is enabled to deliver safely, quality, on time, within budget, and in accordance with the agreed project requirements.
6. Keeps abreast of new SOW boundaries, organizes, and communicates any gaps or issues that may impact the project.
7. Coordinate technical interfaces in a complex Onshore/Offshore Brownfield and Greenfield major project and interfaces arising from technical deviation/changes/ variations with relevant contractors.
8. Create and maintain a risk and opportunity management plan tailored to the needs of the project.
9. Develop and maintain a risk register, including the assigned risk owners. Categorize and prioritize risks and identify and record proposed risk mitigations.
10.Ensure the EPIC contractors' tops risks are compiled and included in the risk register.
11.Always appraise the Project Manager and PTF as to the status of significant risk issues.
12.Plan periodic formal reviews of risks and risk treatments listed in the risk register for the purpose of monitoring the effectiveness of the overall risk process.
13.Facilitate QRA review meetings, build risk models, run the cost and schedule QRAs and generate contingency breakdown reports.
14.Chair monthly risk review sessions, attended by the Project Manager and project discipline heads and functional leads.
15.Create standardized reports (top 10 risks, risk matrix, open actions) for the project team.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
1. B.Sc./ B Eng. Degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University, higher degree would be advantageous.
2. A minimum of (12) years' experience in engineering, project management and execution of major and mega Oil & Gas projects, of which a minimum of ( 5 )years' experience in project management/interface leadership roles with proven track record for major and mega Oil & Gas projects.
3. Experienced in developing and leading effective project interface organizations.
4. Experienced in the implementation of industry best practices and Company's systems, processes, and standards.
5. Proven ability to apply sound judgment and analytical skills due to the complex and diversified nature of the position.
6. Extensive skills in management and leadership, team building, effective communication, conflict resolution and presentations.

  • BS in Accounting or Finance (Highly Preferred)
  • 5 years experience in MANUFACTURING cost accounting with strong knowledge of Labor and
  • Material variances along with how to FIND AND FIX!
  • Ability to identify and analyze business issues; developing and recommending solutions
  • Experienced with: freight, marketing/sales expenses, forecasting, inventory, expense

reports, auditors, variance analysis, etc.

  • A background of success with communication and presentation skills.


Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Cost Accountant

  • Monitoring and updating cost estimates for projects to ensure that costs are within expected ranges
  • Manage Period-End and Year-End closings Of Manufacturing Cycle.
  • Develop and follow-up on budgets of all Manufacturing & Manufacturing Service Cost Centers:
  • Establish and maintain internal controls.
  • Building a comprehensive detailed analyses and reporting structure (especially on the cost of goods manufactured portion) of the P&L.
  • Cost center analysis.
  • Cost Accountant performs cost rolls for existing products, new products, and estimates.
  • Ensure BOMs and Routings accurate and meaningful and that Inventory control is accurate and meaningful. are
  • Ensure Standards for material, labor & overhead rates are accurate and meaningful.
  • Perform monthly analysis of variances (Labor, PPV, Overhead).
  • Ensure the appropriate controls and structure are in place for scrap and cycle count reporting.
  • Conducting cost analyses to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated altogether
  • Develop production analysis reports and tools to assist decision-makers.
  • Participate in coordinating the annual budget process.
  • Review monthly reconciliation of accounts.

Primary purpose of job
Provide expertise on Port development, coastal risks and all marine related, shipping and navigation matters to our client and Asset Operators.
Lead planning of Ports infrastructure and marine resources

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 20 years' experience in port development and planning. Regional, governmental port authority experience is desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of international, regional, and corporate regulations applicable to the maritime industry in general and to port operations and port logistics planning.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices and economics involved in the design and operation of various types of port and harbour facilities, international conventions and practices relating to the design and operation of multi-product ports.
  • Knowledge and experience within Port and energy organizations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ports and shipping tariff's structure analysis highly desired.
  • Excellent oral and written English combined with strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, exercising a high degree of self-motivation and discipline. Strong "relationship builder" attitude, and comfortable in working with senior management and a broad range of external parties.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules using strong organizational and time management skills.


Education
Internationally recognized degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Master Mariner Class 1.
Master's in Business administration /Management highly preferred
