Engineering Resource Data Analyst

Within the CAE department (Computer Aided Engineering), you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Engineering resource plan and budget dashboard of the company project organisation. This will be performed in an ongoing basis with information provided by the various Engineering disciplines, Projects, Human Resources function and Finance. In addition, you will also be responsible for assisting and producing short, medium, and long term reports on the resource LTF (latest thinking forecast) which acknowledge the Group's strategic requirements.

A key part of the role is to explore new methods using digital technology with the aim to enhance and improve the efficiency in the processing and reporting of the information in a concise manner. You will work alongside both managers and developers in this role, for which you will gain valuable experience in understanding of the functions of each Engineering discipline within the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Managing forecast reporting of resourcing plan for all Engineering disciplines.
  • Ensuring data integrity, consistency and reconciliation with Engineering Discipline Managers and HR.
  • Undertaking detailed preparation of workforce data, interpreting, and presenting data in a coherent format for management team.
  • Developing dashboards and reporting, improving automation.
  • Consolidating functional country and project headcount and long-term resource forecasting.
  • Delivering the reports about the allocation of the resources.
  • Continuous development of resource forecasting planning tool. Working with digitalisation team to develop Global Resource Planning tools.
  • Based in Surrey or Paris with some travels to other company offices if required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Background in Data Analytics or Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Experience of building and maintaining reports and analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerBI skills
  • Experience with Sharepoint and Python is appreciated
  • Experience dealing with large sets of data and being able to manipulate this into meaningful outputs
  • Analytical thinking and proactive skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity focus
  • Results driven individual who can work independently with excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and strong team spirit
  • Strong mindset to learn software skills to support business needs.
  • English is mandatory - French appreciated.
