The Requirements:

• 3 years proven work experience as Chemist or similar role
• Experience with commissioning of sampling container including sampling probes
• Experience with portable chemistry tooling example, conductivity meters, PH meter, basic lab equipment for on-site analysis
• Understand water chemistry limits to prevent steam contamination by carryover
• Perform analysis and interpretation of water/steam quality to release power plant for start up
• Daily/weekly reporting of overall water chemistry to engineering
• Good understanding of process chemistry in HRSG, Steam Turbine and condensate System
• Regular inspection of main equipment, HRSG, condenser, MCW to verify chemical regime
• Monitor dosing chemicals usage and replenishment of consumables *
• Hands on attitude, pro-active, deep sense of ownership and accountability

Qualification & Education Requirements: -

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Active English communication
• Preferable Mandarin speaking
