Payroll Support - Oil & Gas
Contract: Initially until October 2023 - likely extension.
Location: Calgary
Schedule: Monday to Friday. 4 day working from the office, 1 day from home.

Reporting to the Payroll manager, this position will support the Time & Payroll team with analysis and auditing to ensure data accuracy and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:
* Complete analysis and issue resolution for payroll and time data
* Auditing data to ensure accuracy and alignment
* Interpret, summarize and present findings for discussion
* Support payroll team members with special projects and ad hoc requests
* Potentially participate in system configuration testing and validation
* Configuring and testing data analytics tool
* Documentation of payroll and time processes

Skills:
1-2 years progressive experience working with an integrated financial and payroll system
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Finance and/or HR work experience preferred
Flexible and able to work well under pressure of deadlines
Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
