Project Surveyor
Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Project Surveyor with Onshore/offshore project experience. The client is a key player in Subsea Engineering within the energy market. They have a project that needs assistance for the next 20 weeks.
The Project Surveyor is typically accountable to the Survey Manager or Project Manager, depending on size and complexity of the Project.
The role will be based in the UK as such candidates are required to have right to work in the UK.

Core Competencies/Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in hydrography, scientific or engineering subject, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in Subsea construction operations
  • Knowledge of survey navigational & data processing software
  • Understanding of data management methods
  • Experience in Pipeline survey operations

Drilling & Completion Supervisor

Drilling & Completions Wellsite Leader (WSL)
The Wellsite Leader (WSL) is accountable for leading all activities, HSSE, operations, and logistics at the well site for all related well construction activities (drilling and completion), with the goal of meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
The WSL is the site representative for Wells organisation and will lead Wells and Contractor Personnel to assure that well operations, which are under their control are carried out in a manner that adheres to Values and Behaviours, is conformant with the requirements of OMS, practices and procedures and is compliant with local government regulations.
The WSL is a safety critical role due to the impact of the decisions they make on operations.
While working at the rigsite, the WSL is embedded in the operations team and accountable for supporting planning and execution activities for well construction activities (drilling and completion), workover and intervention activities.
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desirable Education: Degree in a qualified in engineering, science, or technical discipline;
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels to be able to effectively project manage multi-disciplinary scopes of work.
Valid Supervisory Well Control Certificates for both drilling (subsea and surface) and well servicing. (WellSharp or IWCF L4)
BOSIET or HUET training.
The WSL will need to cultivate relationships with Engineering Teams, contractors and well service personnel in the field.
Other key relationships include Well planning service providers, Wells Operations team, Logistics for supplies and personnel, the New Well Delivery team, the Resource team, Drilling Engineering, Completions Engineering, Interventions, and Integrity teams.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company, the position as NUCC Intern will maintain the company's interest regarding operations and development of all aspects under the NUCC portfolio including but not limited to Network Support, Telephony, All Conferencing Modalities, Audio/Visual Architecture and Solutions, Instant Messaging and Presence, Collaboration, Meeting Room Solutions and O365.

The position has responsibilities to maintain, upgrade and develop the systems globally. In addition, participating and running projects to expand current systems or deploy new systems/locations.

Job Description

  • Lead the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activity in adherence to company work management and activity integration processes with an emphasis on execution readiness and right first-time execution. Ensure work planning is completed to a high standard and seek feedback from key stakeholders both onshore and offshore.
  • Support their assigned squad and the wider regional team to implement best practice in work preparation and execution.
  • Maximise value through the implementation of Agile working practices and prioritisation of tasks based on value to the business.
  • Manage the delivery of 3rd party vendors by setting clear standards for work quality and safe execution. Monitor progress and provide feedback as part of Quarterly Performance Reviews.
  • Regularly review and provide input into the Maintenance Build and Preventative Maintenance Strategies to improve quality and optimise delivery.

Key Criteria

  • Experience in delivering maintenance and/or turnaround activity in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Energy industries.
  • Knowledge of work planning, safety management systems and process/marine equipment.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of SAP PM
  • Site Leadership/Supervision experience on Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Energy industry facilities.
  • OGUK/OPITO offshore medical certificate and survival training.

  • Medium to long range focus on reliability issues from a Mechanical Engineering perspective for site operations related queries/activities/risks to deliver safe, reliable and compliant operations.

Experience and job requirements

  • Understanding of reliability principles and methodologies with demonstrable experience in reliability systems and diagnostics.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in reliability, with a proven ability to demonstrate practical and applied knowledge of upstream and global operations and practices.
  • Significant experience in either an internal or external engineering role, or similar.
  • Experience on an operating site.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering, with sound knowledge of the relevant industry codes, standards and regulations and the ability to initiate guidance on the appropriate designs and systems to prevent, control and mitigate risks.
  • Sound stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Mechanical Engineering support to the Reliability Team to deliver solutions to equipment reliability, working closely with the Facility Support Squads and Site Engineer to resolve reliability issues.
  • Ensures asset Mechanical Engineering risks are understood, controlled and continuously reduced.
  • Monitors health of all static/rotating mechanical equipment and associated operating envelopes, recording and investigating all SDL/SOL excursions.
  • Monitors KPIs for static/rotating equipment, and initiates corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provides Mechanical Engineering support to technical MoCs and Engineering Queries (EQ).
  • May initiate Engineering Queries and provide feedback on EQ verification/prioritisation to site).
  • Supports delivery of the Production Efficiency Improvement and Defect Elimination process
  • Identifies production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecast and grow production.

Qualifications

  • Education Degree in Engineering or related discipline and/or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
  • Professional accreditation, e.g. Chartered Engineer (UK)
