Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support FEED & Concept Studies for asset development activities, including, conversions, upgrade projects and major marine newbuilds for One Fleet.
  • Provide Naval Architecture and Marine systems knowledge and capability
  • Ensure that the marine assets remain at the forefront of technology innovation, operational and environmental efficiency
  • Determination of budget and schedule for asset modifications
  • Definition and management of 3rdparty related SOW related to vessel and marine systems.
  • Vetting of 3rdparty assets and potential conversion opportunities as input to wider fleet strategy decision making.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Essential:
    Degree qualifications in naval architecture and / or marine engineering with small craft design, ocean engineering, marine engineering / naval architecture, or offshore engineering.
    Preferred:
  • Registration with UK Engineering Council, and membership of a licensed professional engineering institution.
  • Extensive NA experience covering
  • Vessel and general structural design Stability
  • Vessel motions and hydrodynamics
  • Able to perform Vessel stability and loading checks related to Topsides equipment additions, removals, modifications, and upgrades, (Lay towers, winches, product storage systems, cranes), determining lightship impact.
  • Able to perform design/review of vessel interfaces, hull structures, determining impact of and modifications required and related to:
  • Integration of / upgrade to: pipelay equipment including tower systems, winches, permanent and portable
  • Product storage systems, Baskets and reels
  • Crane upgrades
  • Roll reduction and anti-heeling systems
  • Sea fastenings and deck reinforcement
  • Basic knowledge of pipelay systems, equipment and methods, reel lay, flexlay and vessel integration
  • Providence of guidance on applicable Class rules, regulations and standards
  • Ability to perform asset screening review and reporting for potential assets
  • Ability to write specifications, define SOW, liaise with equipment providers, shipyards to formalise and develop basic costings / develop schedule inputs

  • Creation and management of business intelligence visualisation tools and reports (Microsoft Power BI) to better support data interpretation and decision making for the Commercial and Senior Management Teams.
  • Manage the schedule and Commercial input required annually for the Five-Year Plan to support key decision making by the Senior Management Team regarding projects, financial forecasts, CAPEX spend and asset requirements in region.
  • Submit regional Market Analysis data as required by Group Sales & Marketing and actively participate as a member of the Global MABP function by identifying and supporting any business improvement initiatives.
  • Actively monitor market intelligence sources (industry press, client releases and subscription services); analyse data trends, client and competitor activities impacting the regions strategy.
  • Attend industry conferences and exhibitions to increase professional network of contacts and collate market intelligence to support regional data and strategies.

Experience/Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a commercial, business, financial or data analytical subject preferred and / or industry experience within a similar role.
  • Can prepare and deliver high quality and engaging presentations and reports.
  • Capable to develop data visualisation and analysis dashboards utilising Microsoft Power BI
  • A comprehensive understanding MS Office 365 business software applications

Overall Purpose of the Job

Onsite team lead for termination and testing of HV (up to 66kV) array cables for offshore wind farms.

The applicant will be the subject matter expert for the company's HV IAC T&T service. They will provide support technical support for tendering and project engineering of HV IAC T&T scopes. They will lead the delivery of these scopes onsite (onshore, offshore & overseas).

It is envisaged that over time this role will transition to an office based one as the company develops capacity in HV IAC T&T.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead projects onsite.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports by providing technical expertise to the project teams.
  • Assist with preparation of tenders including preparation of method statements and equipment lists.

Qualifications Required (Technical, Professional, Academic)

Essential:

  • BTEC Diploma (Level 4), City & Guild, or HNC in Electrical Engineering
  • Possession of/or the ability to get an RUK Wind Turbine Medical Certificate

Looking for an enthusiastic SCM Category Specialist. This is a full-time, staff role where you will be responsible for the procurement of complex product category supporting tendering on the project including pre and post award management.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Work collaboratively with Tendering/Sales & Marketing to achieve key target award goals such as meeting local content requirements, achieving a fast-track delivery and providing best overall value for the tender submission.
  • Responsible and accountable, unsupported, for tender and subcontract activities for an allocated category and be the focal point of contact for SCM.
  • Ensure clear category procurement strategies are developed for key tenders and there is an appropriate balance between internal benchmarking and external Request for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Prepare Request for Quotations / Invitation to Tenders for goods and services in line with, allocated budgets, quality and delivery targets.
  • Ensure that all category subcontracts for the project provide best value and contractual position with regards to risk evaluation, budget adherence and delivery.
  • Prepare and coordinate the placement of subcontracts/purchase orders that ensures compliance with category strategies and project procurement plan.
  • Organize KOM (Kick off Meetings) and attend PPM (Pre-production Meetings) with Vendors
  • Follow up the weekly progress of category complex/critical packages awarded to suppliers. Ensure regular progress updates are provided to the assigned SCM Subcontract Specialist/Project Team.
  • Expedite orders and ensure all documentation are received on time.
  • Expedite invoices and close out of projects in timely manner.
  • Negotiate any disputes that may arise in the supply chain.
  • Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required.
  • Complete an evaluation of a supplier's performance / lessons learned with the category and project team as appropriate.
  • Proactively participate in global category networking groups where relevant
  • Continuously monitor the market for allocated category particularly for category pricing and capacity. Thereafter, advise / implement category mitigation plans, such as new supplier qualification, frame agreements and supplier partnering to secure capacity in the supply chain.
  • Conduct regular category meetings with key regional functional stakeholders to review and take appropriate action in relation category strategies and support business/project requirements.
  • Support category team to present category strategy updates to the senior management team annually.
  • Support the Subcontract team with any assignments based on business workload activities within each group. Collaboration on work assignments across Subcontract, Category and Tendering activities will be required and also to strengthen cross-functional knowledge and experience within each team.

Your Professional Qualifications / Experience

  • Significant role relevant experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas/Renewables Industry and in Supply Chain Management.
  • Pre and post award experience in EPCI environment or experience in supporting EPCI Tenders within SCM.
  • Pre and post award experience in procurement of complex Category/Commodities in Oil & Gas/Renewables Industry.
  • IT proficient across the MS Suite. SAP/SAP Ariba is desirable.
  • CIPs (or other relevant industry qualification) desirable.

Looking for a Proposal Manager to joint the team based in Aberdeen. The role will contribute to the planning, execution and delivery of inhouse tenders as part of the global support function and in accordance with tender process.

You will acquire an in-depth exposure both to the commercial and technical aspects of the business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tender process to deliver the complete bid in accordance with the company tender procedure.
  • Co-ordinate the screening and evaluation of business opportunities.
  • Support the management team in formulation of the bid/no-bid decision and bid strategy.

What you will be doing

  • Undertakes responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to the Drawing Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.

  • The Project Commercial Manager (PCM) will be overall responsible for enhancing company profit and maximising opportunities under the project contract through understanding the commercial and operational objectives of the company, while at the same time protecting the company from risk and exposure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Administer all tasks and duties in accordance with the established management system.
  • Act as company representative in liaison with clients or their representative

  • Ensure that all reports to the client, linked to commercial issues, are as required by the contract, and are provided in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that prompt corrective action is taken in response to non-conformance reports and source of NCR is highlighted to project personnel.
  • Liaise with Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Business Acquisition Manager and other personnel to improve the position of the company.
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal.
  • Specifically identify the nature of any experience arising from the project and make provision for retention and transfer both during the execution of the project and project completion.
  • Establish optimal project organization for Project Control and Administration support.
  • Supervise the project organization and monitor performance
  • Establish administrative routines with the project.
  • Maintain awareness of Company current requirements and where applicable, the latest industry codes and standards, including statutory rules and regulations.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree or higher level in a legal, commerce or business subject and / or appropriate equivalent industry experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiar with standard Contract Terms & Conditions within the Subsea industry, particularly the SURF market.

  • A strong technical understanding of subsea construction.
