HR Analyst

Responsibilities:

o Provide timely and accurate transactional support for employee life cycle events through partnering with the business and internal HR teams (e.g. Total Rewards, Talent Management, Payroll, HR Business Partners, HRIS)
o Provide excellent customer service support both internally and externally to HR and triage inquiries beyond self-serve portal
o Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to support HR program administration and initiatives
o Maintain knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and procedures to answer general employee and leader inquiries while adhering to Client's values and practices
o Assist with the creation of materials related to HR procedures and policies (e.g. process documentation, FAQs, quick-reference cards etc.)
o Contribute to the HR knowledge article portal and knowledge management strategy through the effective use of Service Now ticket documentation, tracking, and resolution
o Support HR programs such as annual compensation cycles, performance & development reviews, benefit enrolment and others
o Lead or actively participate in projects to develop, review and improve HR processes
o Collaborate with HRBPs, COEs (centers of expertise) and enabling partners to resolve inquiries and improve processes for an optimal employee experience through a case management model
o Provide mentorship and training support to team members


Qualifications:

o Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
o Post-secondary Degree/Diploma combined with 5 years of direct HR experience
o Experience working in an HR shared services operating model is preferred
o Experience working with Workday, SAP and Service Now is preferred
o Exceptional customer service skills
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Strong analytical skills with ability to contribute to decisions and recommendations
o Superior organization skills, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
o Customer service expertise with strong conflict resolution skills to manage centralized phone line / ticket queue for respective client requests within ServiceNow

Advanced Process Control Engineer - IEVC

Job Overview
Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for advanced control and real time optimization strategies to achieve improvements in process efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  • Design, configure, and commission APC and optimization solutions to enable value chain optimization.
  • Use statistical process control methods to create accurate models that predict, monitor and/or control operating processes
  • Maintain advanced process control software and hardware infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain spectroscopy-based advanced analyzer models to determine accurate real-time measurement of challenging process variables
  • Work within integrated project teams and business stakeholders on various near real time optimization projects, which includes activities such as: scoping study development, benefit analysis, solution design and review, data collection and modeling, soft sensor development, operator interface development, process simulation, commissioning, and operator training



Required Qualifications:

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • 4 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Previous hands-on experience with mainstream DCS, APC and RTO platforms
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering
  • An entrepreneurial attitude, and an adaptable and flexible working style, as the program is in early stages
  • Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills, both verbal and written, with proven communication skills
  • Alignment with our values: safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity



Preference for:

  • Advanced degree (master's and/or Ph.D.) in engineering
  • Experience leading APC/RTO projects, including technology selection, implementation, integration, and training on new systems and platforms
  • Understanding of advanced analytics techniques and statistical analysis
  • Experience developing and maintaining advanced analyzer models
  • Exposure to operations, and/or experience in more than one area of the energy value chain
  • Knowledge of hydrocarbon planning technology (LP models, optimizers, etc.) and planning processes
  • Familiarity with ADEM, the Agile mindset, and agile delivery methods
  • Eligible for membership with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)



Where you'll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

  • You will be based out of our Calgary head office
  • Flexibility for a blend of remote and in-person work
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional travel may be required to other offices and/or sites

Description: Key Accountabilities:: Creates purchase orders. Maintains and manages entire lifecycle of purchase orders and other basic procurement documentation. Assists with procurement process issues as required and escalates unresolved procurement issues to more Senior Procurement Coordinators and Specialists. Meets the demands of multiple clients including external stakeholders. Ensures all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan. Identifies approved suppliers to address requirements. Creates individual annual objectives, measures, and performance targets aligned with the overall Procurement Team and the Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions' performance targets. Applies a mix of general Supply Operations concepts and processes and articulates key terminology in daily work. Applies general knowledge of ERP modules and processes in daily work. Problems dealt with are of limited complexity and are guided by policies and procedures. Makes decisions within established guidelines. Determines course of action as per procedural guidelines and contracts. Participates in the development of priorities to guide decisions. Deals with problems which are of limited complexity and guided by policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements: Represents a continuation of learning and development within the various phases of Supply Chain Management (SCM). Displays a general knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices, procedures and tools. Understands the importance of communication skills and effective interaction with partners and suppliers. Demonstrates skills in ERP and an understanding of Planning, Scheduling and Coordinating practices, while acquiring a broadening understanding and awareness of related Supply Chain competencies.

Minimum 4 years in a Supply Chain or a Procurement related role. Post-secondary Business or Supply Chain background preferred. Experience in Oil and Gas industry preferred. Some roles will require a working knowledge of written and verbal French.
