May make modifications to engineering designs or procedures, to meet performance specifications.
Draws on available resources to identify and evaluate enhancement opportunities.
Ensures Process Safety Standards are incorporated in design and execution of Change Management Assesses both direct and indirect outcomes of proposed changes and incorporates mitigating actions within design or recommendation. Recommendations are within established guidelines.
Employs a structured decision-making process-can test own hypothesis against data.
Able to independently respond to technical queries Able to independently develop solutions and present to cross functional team members Thinks job through to completion and identifies significant adverse consequences.
Sets reasonable objectives and action plans to achieve in the short term (3 months). May give technical guidance to one or two junior engineers, or technicians, assigned to work on a common project.
Minimum Requirements: Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Applied Science or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years' work experience.
Professional Engineer status from provincial association in jurisdictions with professional associations
Manages own time and can address numerous issues simultaneously
Developed interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with broad stakeholders
Good knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Regulatory requirements

Description:
Role: Gas&Power Market Risk Analyst
Key Accountabilities:
* Produce, analyze, and explain daily profit & loss, and exposures for natural gas and power positions
* Work with risk control colleagues and traders in ensuring compliance to Risk Management Policy
* Ensure a strong control environment within Client's trading groups, particularly trading limits (VaR, term, fixed price)
* Validating forward price curves and pricing analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
* Strong focus on process improvements, streamlining the reporting process
* Work closely with back office accounting staff for month end settlements
* Daily interaction with traders, schedulers, risk analysts, I.T., and accounting groups
* Other ad hoc analysis and projects as required
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Mathematics
* CFA, PRM, ERP would be considered an asset
* Risk Management experience in the areas of natural gas or power
Skills & Knowledge:
* Advanced excel skills ( complex formulae, macros )
* Working knowledge of VBA
* Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity for understanding markets, finance, and commerce.
* Ability to analyze complex sets of data, and problem solve independently

-Providing Support to the Scoping, Engineering and Setup of a pervasive wireless vibration monitoring program
-Mapping control system tag data to analytic inputs/metrics by reviewing P&IDs and Historian Databases
-Collecting and reviewing engineering documentation for equipment specifications and system information
-Provide Innovative ideas to support asset performance management initiatives
-Providing updates to APM program team, with support to schedule, scope and budget management
-Coordinating, directing and reviewing the work of vendors and engineering contractors
-Identifying risks and issues within your area of responsibility
-Creating supporting documentation or collecting information pertinent to the project
-Interfacing with integrated team to work collaboratively
Main Skills/Qualifications Required:
-Candidates should have the following interests and knowledge:
o Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent with 5 years of qualifying experience
o Knowledge of reliability principles and asset management within Oil & Gas and/or Process Industries
o Knowledge of Rotating Equipment Fundamentals and Key failure modes
o Knowledge of Vibration Condition Monitoring Principles
o Experience reading/understanding P&IDs and engineering documentation
o Innovative Thinking with the use of data to provide asset insights with a strong interest in analytics
o Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work effectively with personnel at site while based in Calgary
o High proficiency with MS Office suite of products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
o Quick to learn and adapt to new tools/processes

Application Support Analyst is responsible for delivery of application services for Finance applications utilized in the Canada and global business units.
