This is your opportunity to join an innovative and growing Software Solutions company as an Account/Sales Executive in Calgary. Our client is already working with some of the top organizations in the Energy industry, but they have only scratched the surface. The successful candidate will be richly rewarded with a generous base/commission compensation package.


Job Overview:

Working closely with the Vice President of Sales, this role will be focused on developing new client accounts while managing and growing relationships with assigned key clients. This position plays a vital role as a member of the sales and client services team with success leading to positional growth within the organization.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and develop new business through active presence in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Maintain communication with current and prospective clients
  • Gain an understanding of the company's needs and pain points and develop customized solutions
  • Deliver sales presentations to C-Suite and Senior-level management
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to understand the latest trends
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets as approved by the VP Sales and the Board of Directors.
  • Build strong external relationships with a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients based on collaboration, trust and mutual respect.



The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of SaaS or similar technology sales experience
  • Engineering/Computer science background
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Must have experience with CRM, such as Salesforce
  • A true "hunter" of new sales opportunities outside of our existing portfolios
  • Proven sales and account management skills
