Sales Engineer - Vancouver B.C.
Sales Engineer vacancy open in an established company with over 50 years of experience supplying the Canadian industrial automation sector. Team members assist clients in creating a bespoke high-quality package suitable to their business needs.
Candidates with Sales experience in the Vancouver area is essential with a solid knowledge of control systems and instrumentation. Areas of expertise include: Automation Products - Motion Control - Industrial Controls - Power Measurement & Metering.
Role Requirements:

  • An individual with a strong sales drive and understanding, along with the ability to develop new business and broaden current projects scope.
  • Working with Estimating to assist in the preparation quotations.
  • Develop and execute strategies designed to grow sales.
  • Develop project and product specifications. Ensure project and product performance meets customer standards and requirements.
  • Able to work independently and effectively in interactions with customers


Experience:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents including bid specifications and drawings.
  • Results oriented individual with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and time lines.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years in sales of industrial automation products.
  • Third level degree in Business/Engineering/ or relevant field is considered an asset.


This role offers an attractive salary based on experience and a performance based profit sharing program.
