JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Outside Sales Executive for a global multi million dollar organisation, specialising in automation and control technology. Candidates can be based in either Calgary or Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

* The successful applicant will be required to build the area business (Vancouver and Alberta), growing an already established customer base, with the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the region.
* Maintain existing accounts and develop additional business via existing and new accounts in order to maximise sales revenue and profits selling a full range of automation and control components including variable speed drives, p.l.c's and HMI's.
* Develop a business plan and manage your accounts to actively maximise all opportunities for business

Key Skills:

* Extensive background (5years ) in selling automation and controls products to a variety of end users, machine builders, manufacturers and systems integrators
* Broad industrial knowledge is essential including the application of state of the art automation technologies in Oil and Gas, Forestry, Mining, Pulp and Paper, manufacturing, and alternative energy.
* A valid driving licence.
* Driven to achieve excellent results
* Strong knowledge of the automation market place and its dynamics.
* Smart personal appearance, and a positive, motivated attitude.
* Eligible to work in Canada
