Our Gas Distribution TIS Solution Architecture team has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist II TIS Asset Acquire to Retire Solution Architect to join their team! If your experienced in building and designing end to end business solutions and roadmaps - we want to hear from you!

The role will be essential in helping to define the long term business roadmaps for the gas distribution business unit including the solution design, sizing and implementation while working in partnership with the Gas Distribution Business relationship manager(s).

What You Will Do:
The Asset Acquire to Retire business solution architect is accountable to develop and execute innovative, practical end to end business solutions across the gas distribution process and system landscape. The asset acquire to retire solution architect will work with the following system components; Maximo, Click FSE, SAP Plant maintenance as well as custom applications developed with .net / Java.

Work along side peer solution architects in the areas of meter to cash, procure to pay, record to report and Geographical information solutions as well as technical, cloud and data architects across the Information technology enterprise teams

Build the future business capability roadmaps enabling the amalgamation of the Legacy Utilities into 1 business application landscape in parallel delivering business functional benefits and driving OPEX reductions in Information technology

Ensure proposed solutions are aligned to all enterprise architecture guidelines including data privacy, security standards, Integration standards and infrastructure guidelines/standards

Work with vendors to assess vendor products, understand vendor's delivery approaches working in partnership with enterprise architecture and VMO

Recognize industry technology trends and emerging technologies, understands how they apply to the Enbridge gas distribution Business unit and supports driving them into our strategy and technology roadmaps

Support and encourage importance of technical quality, new technologies, sharing & experimentation across the org through direct leadership and mentoring

Leadership Accountabilities
Lead a diverse group of architect, SMEs, program managers and partners to work collaboratively to develop and execute end to end solutions

Provides formal and informal mentorship on-the-job to strengthen team members to their full potential. Mentors junior members of the team and reviews their work

Who You Are:
At least 10 years of progressively responsible and related experience, e.g., business solution development and business transformation

University degree/diploma in a related field, e.g., Computer Engineering, advanced degree considered an asset (MBA or equivalent)

Expert understanding of solution architecture particularly the Gas Distribution or similar Utility based business application landscape

Ability to communicate and influence solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of (business) partners effectively and comprehensibly

Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability and Availability

Experience with Agile & DevSecOps methodologies

Excellent project management, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of management levels through the Enterprise coupled with solid ability to raise and resolve technical and business issues related to the gas distribution operations suite of applications.

Non-authoritative leadership skills, experience in leading others including mentoring/coaching.

Excellent project coordination, problem resolution, analytical, organization & prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities/demands simultaneously, and ability to recognize and address workload issues.

Proven team player with a sense of humour
