Summary:
The Construction Manager (CM) reports directly to the Superintendent, Major Projects Construction and indirectly reports to the accountable Project Manager. When assigned to a project, the CM is seconded to the Project and reports to the Project Manager for project activities. The Construction Manager is responsible to support the engineering phases of a project from a construction perspective. The Construction Manager shall develop the Construction Execution Plan, and Construction Work Packages following corporate templates that shall be detailed for the project. The Construction Manager shall also support other project phases or deliverables, such as the contract formation activities, technical document reviews, and constructability reviews. * Provide site leadership and communicate a clear vision that generates commitment and support from all field employees, workers and contractors. Develop and instill a strong safety culture and quality expectation that adheres to corporate standards and procedures;
* Serve as the key interface point and coordination between the construction contractor, field team, project management, operations, and other 3rd parties;

* Promote a positive contractor relationship that upholds each parties' responsibilities;
* Lead the morning meetings that promote safety, a daily plan, communication of critical information, and addressing concerns or constraints that arise. Attend contractor daily meeting, tool box meetings, construction progress meetings and other scheduled project meetings that required for the success of the project;
* Actively plan, manage, and evaluate resources to ensure adequate oversight and competency of construction activities;
* Ensure that the Client and contractor constraints are addressed by use of processes and procedures;
* Ensure all daily safe work permits and site-specific hazard assessments are completed to minimum standards;
* Issue accurate construction progress reporting and perform quantity surveys on a regular basis. Communicate on a regular basis any issues / constraints with recommendations to mitigate those, all of which that may have project impact related to construction activities, safety, costs and schedule;
* Submitting AER and MER pipeline construction and hydrotest notifications for midstream pipeline projects;
* Implement and adhere to the Change Management process including RFI, PCN, DCN, etc.;
* Proactively identify constructability issues and provide mitigation recommendations;
* Attend and actively participate in project close-out and lessons learned activities.

Our client is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Technician/Technologist to support our Regulatory Compliance team. You are an enthusiastic individual that is detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational and communication skills and an ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally. Your main focus will be on ensuring compliance requests are monitored, assigned, communicated, tracked, and closed according to protocols and systems. You will also support the company by providing guidance on regulations and regulatory change, supporting audits and reporting as required, and provide backup support if/as needed for other data tracking requirements. This role is a full time contract position based in the downtown Calgary office with potential for occasional travel to field locations for regulatory support 5% of the time, if required). Responsibilities:
- Monitor compliance inbox (email) for information and compliance notices from regulators (e.g., field inspection surveillance notices, audits).
- Assign, track, communicate, and monitor compliance audit and inspection requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure submission of required regulatory responses by assigned deadlines via government portals.
- Ensure effective document management of regulatory submissions.
- Maintain compliance distribution contact lists.
- Prepare regular compliance status reports, including trends.
- Support internal requests for regulatory guidance by researching and preparing summaries of applicable legislation (with support).

Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Undergraduate degree or technical diploma.
Working knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry in Western Canada (conventional, in situ oil sands).
Minimum two years of experience in a role working with government agencies, data systems and documentation control (or equivalent).
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships.
Detail oriented, good time management skills, strong ability to manage to deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
Knowledge of SharePoint, SAP, Spotfire/Power BI an asset but not required.

Job Overview:

  • Reporting to the Corporate Manager, Asset Integrity, the RBI Engineer will support the data gathering/validation required for RBI Assessment, Lead/Facilitate RBI Assessment and support other RBI Sustainment Activities.   • This is a contract position for one (1) year. Position will be evaluated at the end of the term and decision made for possible extension if supported by business needs.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the corporate RBI Project Team with Data Gathering, Data Review/Validation and QA/QC of static equipment history data (Design, Inspection, Maintenance, Process, Operational etc.) to perform RBI Assessments. Data currently resides in various locations including SAP, Excel Files, and various databases.
  • Populate various data upload template, and support/perform data upload into GE APM Meridium - RBI Platform.
  • Support Business Units to optimize existing asset reliability by providing technical and RBI program support including Leading/Facilitating RBI Assessments for various assets such as: Above Ground Storage tanks (AST's), Pressure Vessels, etc.
  • Support corporate RBI Program sustainment activities including risk assessments and inspection planning for prioritizing maintenance and inspection activities that meets or exceeds provincial and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with and support the continuous improvement of the RBI Program, Procedures and Processes
  • Understand functionalities of the GE APM RBI modules and key interfaces to ensure effective utilization of RBI analysis capabilities, with the purpose of ensuring proper risk assessments and mitigations.
  • Provide support with incorporating new equipment into the RBI program


Roles and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years working in a plant setting as an inspection engineer, or materials and corrosion engineer, or other roles with direct involvement with equipment and asset integrity, e.g. inspection and material testing, NDE, failure analysis, RBI, CCD development, condition assessment, FFS
  • Skilled in various types of equipment and degradation mechanisms for various process units
  • Knowledgeable with API 510, API 570, API 653, and the minimum regulatory requirements for pressure equipment
  • API 580 Certification required
  • Proficiency with RBI Systems such as: GE APM Meridium, PCMS, Lloyd Register Capstone etc.
  • Interpersonal relations, teamwork, designing solutions, leading presentations with clients and solving problems focusing on projects main objectives
  • Ability to multi-task on parallel priorities, good approach to prioritization
  • Experience working with API specifications such as: API 580, 581 Risk Based Inspection is a must

  • Remediate, translate, prepare static equipment strategies to standardized template for application loading
  • Provide data cleansing, quality, and validation efforts
  • Transform data into usable load sheets for vendor data mapping and migration efforts
  • Develop test conditions and validate expected results to ensure business objectives are met
  • Facilitate and ensure operational acceptance of data quality

  • This position is responsible for Cost Estimating projects . This includes new construction and sustaining projects. The successful candidate will be required to work with the other estimators within the group preparing and reviewing costs estimates. This candidate will work on scoping level, Stage 2 and FEED level of estimates. The cost estimator will be proficient in all estimating disciplines, understand Fabrication, module shop and site construction procedures and standards. Be responsible to roll up discipline estimates into the main summary sheets, benchmark with other projects and be proficient in presenting their scope of work. The estimator must be experienced in both Brownfield and Greenfield projects.



Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that the estimates produced adhere to the Estimating standards and procedures as outlined by the PC Governance.
  • Challenge Project teams for alternatives to improve project performance, reduce project costs
  • Provide mentoring / guidance to other team members and extended teams.
  • The estimator will work closely with the other group members to ensure full cooperation between the all disciplines.
  • Must be willing to work alongside EPC estimators and extended estimating teams.
  • Support and participate in the development of a cohesive estimating team and support strong relationships with other groups such as the EP Contractor, Construction, internal groups, contract resources and other stakeholders related to the project
  • The Estimator will report to the Manager Estimating.
  • The estimator will assist the development of project estimates of all categories.
  • Be proficient in civil, structural, piping, equipment, electrical, I&C and EHT disciplines.
  • Understand all levels of estimates: Pre-Scoping, Scoping, DBM and FEED.
  • Must be able to work on estimates for new construction, sustaining projects and for field turnaround type projects.
  • Participate in all interactive estimate reviews related to the project estimates
  • Attend and Participate in all RISCOR/SPIM gate reviews as assigned.
  • Ensure accurate and timely estimates are delivered on the agreed upon dates.
  • Attend all corporate and insitu required training courses as deem necessary for the position
  • Be willing to travel to a site location (overnight) at least twice a month.



Experience and Education:

  • Technical diploma or University degree
  • 10 years related experience or appropriate combination of education and experience in preparing cost estimates for mega projects.



Skills and Knowledge:

  • In depth knowledge in Aspen-tech (k-Base) and WinEst estimating programs, ability to develop estimates in Aspen-Tech will be an asset
  • Ability to work with team members to produce estimating deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communication skills are a must
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
  • A self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to provide personal and technical mentorship to junior staff members & extended teams

  • Progressive closeout as project milestones are completed, e.g. POs and NWA. Set up metrics/KPIs and report in CT/MESR. Initiate Asset componentization list and finalize and obtain approval for the Closeout plan.
  • Executing the PC Closeout plan, complete and obtain approval for the final Closeout report, provide benchmarking data as per plan.
  • Ensuring all PC requirements on the Project Management Closeout Standard Checklist are completed.
  • Develop understanding of Milestone Analysis process.
  • Support the implementation of Milestone Analysis activities.
  • Ensure our contractors understand their obligations and how they will share in the success of the project.
  • Ensure our contractors are delivering as per their obligations and elevating issues as they arise.
  • Understand how our Capability Building program will lead to more effective progress meetings and higher certainty in project success.

  • Experience and Education:
  • A post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate.
  • Excellent computer skills, MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), EcoSys, and SAP.
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Controls experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • EPC and Owner experience a definite asset.

Contract position managing all contracts for assigned mining capital projects from conception through execution and completion. Responsible for post contract administration and management of all contract matters relating to the obligations and duties of both parties.


Essential Functions

Maintenance Clerk/Analyst
The Maintenance Clerk (Contract) role will report to the Manager Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) for the company's Distribution Business Area. The selected candidate will be required to:

  • Gather data in support of developing the monthly M&R Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and stewardship reports
  • Collaborate with contractor onboarding and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to manage administrative aspects related to contractor management and onboarding.

  • Work with engineers, students, specialists, coordinators and leaders to ensure an efficient and effective document management system using Livelink and MS Teams
  • Support the optimization of M&R processes, using SAP, Excel and other administrative management tools.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of business administration, maintenance support or supply chain experience in an industrial setting
  • Post-secondary qualification in business administration, supply chain or applied technology is preferred
