Health and Safety Advisor - Oil & Gas client (Retail area of business)
Location: Calgary
Contract: 12 months, with a view to extend.
This role will support the Downstream business as part of our Health and Safety team, providing technical and functional leadership in Health and Safety. This position will support implementation of Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) and help ensure compliance to regulatory standards and company requirements within the assigned business unit.
This role will also contribute by completing site assurance activities, completing incident investigations, coaching/mentoring site/business unit staff, and supporting contractor management processes along with being a team subject matter expert on safety reporting, metrics, apps and documentation.
Provide safety support to the following teams: Asphalt and Industrial Products (A&IP), team vacation coverage (CDT, CRP)
Responsibilities
* Team subject matter expert responsible for Health and Safety stewardship reporting, incident and leading indicator reporting and trending/analysis, technology applications and documentation management. Track and communicate performance reports, safety metrics, trends, on a recurring frequency. Lead safety metrics dashboard development and continuous improvement.
* Incident reporting subject matter expert. Provide support to business unit users for entry, accuracy, closure, as well as reporting and trending.
* Safety app: Team subject matter expert, vendor point of contact, user support, reporting/trending, program sustainment and continuous improvement.
* Conduct and/or participate in incident investigations, facilitate presentations, and coach and mentor site leadership to own and drive the actions to prevent re-occurrence.
* Foster collaboration between the Deployed Health and Safety team and the Central Health and Safety Team, leveraging the Technical Authorities and multi-disciplinary support as a conduit for communication.
* Assist entity in developing and actioning management system gap closure plans, as well as ensuring an assurance and self-verification program is functioning.
* Support the implementation and sustainment of safety projects, programs, standards, and campaigns.
* Coach & mentor front line leaders and staff on occupational safety helping to improve their knowledge and assist with executing work safely.
* Participate in the contractor safety management review/evaluation process.
* Perform assurance activities in the field and monitor compliance of H&S requirements. Accountable to provide an independent view of risk from operations. Intervention may be required based on the risk identified.

* Responsible for the development of monthly Safety performance reports, and to ensure quality and continuous improvement of the inputs and outputs.

Competencies
* Must have direct experience completing Health & Safety reporting, data analytics and be knowledgeable in incident classification and safety metrics
* Excellent computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products (outlook, excel, ppt), as well as adobe, Spotfire, PowerBI
* Experience working with safety software (Enabalon, Intelex), safety "apps" and web-based applications

Qualifications
Required:
* Certified Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or equivalent
* 3-7 yrs. experience in a Health and Safety environment
* Minimum 3 yrs. experience working in a health and safety business analyst role or supporting performance reporting activities
* 3-7 yrs. experience with Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis
* 3-7 yrs. working knowledge of performing safety audits and inspections
* High school diploma or equivalent
* A valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
* Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks
* Compliance with the Company's alcohol and drug policy including pre-employment testing
Asset:
* Experience working in Retail/convenience industry

Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end category management of the drilling portfolio. Activities include strategy development and implementation for respective categories, executing and implementing sourcing initiatives and demand/supply plan development. Assignment Scope: | Basic Purpose/Accountabilities Reporting to the Supply Chain Transactional Analyst Lead, the Transactional Analyst will be responsible for processing service confirmations, managing the GR/IR, creation of purchase requisitions and acting as a focal point for assisting suppliers and stakeholders with any service confirmation and requisition requests. Areas of Responsibility * Ensure timely and accurate review, coding, and routing of service confirmation to appropriate business unit * Process invoice reconciliations - code out invoice receipt using correct coding and routing to appropriate ad hoc approver * Create purchase requisitions in GEP on behalf of various business units. * Interface with our suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping them navigate our portals and systems (GEP SMART) * Participate in stakeholder meetings * Issue goods receipts and service entries in GEP * Liaise with Supply Chain colleagues on maintaining Price books and PO issues * Review any purchase document errors and determine resolution in GEP * Log service tickets for GEP support to resolve issues encountered in GEP related to Service Confirmations or Invoice Reconciliation Required Skills/Competencies * Knowledge of GEP SMART and Wellview * Excellent customer service skills and team player * High attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong time management skills * Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Outlook - Basic level / Excel - intermediate/advance level) |

Learning Management System (LMS) Advisor
Location: Calgary
Contract: Initially 12 months, with a view to extend
General Description of Role:
Reporting to the Team Lead, LMS & Logistics, the Contract LMS & Logistics Advisor is a key partner in supporting the management and technical support of our Learning Management Systems and employee development.
The Advisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations and technical support of Workday Learning (Internal LMS), coordination of internally & externally delivered training programs and other learning activities as required. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams across the organization with employees, leaders, and vendors to ensure that our client groups receive the support they need, and employees receive the learning required to perform their jobs effectively. This role also works closely with the Learning & Development team.
This is a technical and a business facing role, which requires a high level of technical knowledge, customer service and partnerships both within the business and HR. Further, your key stakeholders could include:
* Learning Partners integrated across the organization
* WorkdayBST team
* HRIS & other IS teams
* Instructional Design team
* Talent Management team
* Leadership Development team
* Training & Competency Management team
Responsibilities:
* Support all client inquiries related to LMS & Learning Logistics
* Support the day-to-day operations of the internal & external Learning Management Systems (LMS)
* Act as the Technical subject matter expert for internal and external LMS, including troubleshooting issues and responding to client inquiries
* Support testing and implementation of Workday LMS updates and provide end-user support
* Maintain and ensure data integrity across Learning Management Systems
* Build and generate custom reports from the LMS as required
* Maintain and ensure adherence to the LMS & Logistics standards & governance
* Facilitate and support all learning partner training sessions
* Participate in creating a cohesive team atmosphere as well as providing support to other team members
Qualifications
* Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
* Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning and Development, or related field of study
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in learning management system administration and ownership
* Experience supporting Workday Learning considered an asset
* Oil and Gas (or related) industry experience (1-2 years) an asset
* Ability to organize work and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to take initiative to improve business processes related to learning activities
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
* Ability to collaborate across a diverse group of individuals at various levels within the organization
* Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
* Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Organizational and process management skills as demonstrated by an ability to manage multiple detailed tasks and drive towards deadlines
* Demonstrated experience in learning management including user administration, data requirements, and issue resolution
* Communication skills to be able to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
