Senior Sourcing Business Partner

Our client who is a leading Multi-national organisation are currently looking for a Senior Sourcing business partner on a permanent basis. The position will be located in Saguenay, Quebec. The business partner is a key role within the company.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to ensure that the needs of the client are met in order to optimize performance through the efficient and efficient deployment of functional support from the relevant centre. Reporting to the principal business partner, the candidate shall:

  • Translating business strategies, objectives and context into an strategy with programs and interventions to support the supply capacity and Delivery
  • Positively question the efficiency of the supply chain and to frame the senior executives in this Respect
  • Support management to define, develop and improve procurement strategy and service delivery of supply;
  • Partner with the company to carry out a wide variety of projects, including new regional or global strategies, cost-related initiatives and activities of improvement;
  • To act as a supply representative and as a primary contact person in the area of supply;
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the processes, policies, programs and systems
  • Run projects in the product group assigned to the function that supports all areas of the product group.

The Candidate:

In order to be considered for this position, the holder must have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of supply and chain experience of supply;
  • Previous experience with Multinational organisations
  • Bilingualism (French/English);
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis capability Strategic
  • Effective and authoritative skills in communication and Coaching
  • Effective organizational and personal skills, including management of Time
  • Skills and experience to initiate change with commitment and Motivation
  • Adaptable to change and able to work in circumstances Ambiguous
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Eligible to work and live in Canada
