Senior Heat Exchanger-Pressure Vessel Engineer

Work Location : would either be in Malaysia or Singapore. Depends on the composition of nationalities in the team

What you'll be doing

• Design various types of heat exchangers (shell and tube, air cooled, condenser, reboiler) by leveraging client-provided process data.
• Analyze client process details, conduct P&ID studies, and execute thermal design using HTRI software.
• Drive optimization of heat exchangers during the bidding stages.
• Proactively select heat exchanger materials and optimize tube layouts through rigorous process calculations.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other disciplines, departments, and third parties.
• Spearhead the preparation and meticulous review of techno-commercial estimations for static equipment, including heat exchangers.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and inspection agencies to ensure project success.

We're looking for

• Someone who holds a Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Bringing 5 or more years of experience in consulting and engineering within oil & gas and petrochemical industries preferred.
• Proficient in leveraging HTRI and other cutting-edge heat exchanger design software.
• Seasoned in utilizing PV Elite and Compress.
• Well-versed in industry Codes and Standards (TEMA, ASME, API) governing Pressure Equipment and Heat Exchangers.
• Acquainted with Client Engineering Standards and Specifications, ensuring tailored and compliant solutions
