Job Description

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Air Emmissions Analyst to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Houston -based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze data from site staff, contractors, and corporate teams to ensure compliance with monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control measures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of the air emissions database.
  • Prepare, update, and submit air emission inventories, background data, and compliance reports (weekly and monthly) using MS Excel, database tools, and EMIS programs (e.g., Cority).
  • Evaluate emissions data to enhance emissions reduction strategies and establish benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with site and corporate teams to understand site-specific processes and operational procedures to support air quality regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining Air Quality Compliance Plans and Procedures.
  • Coordinate periodic stack tests and fugitive monitoring surveys.
  • Conduct internal site audits of Air Quality Compliance data.
  • Research and interpret federal (e.g., NSPS, NESHAP) and Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) regulations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Air Quality Compliance, with a preference for experience in Louisiana.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and database programs, along with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience with EMIS tools (e.g., Cority).
  • Strong knowledge of EPA and Louisiana Air Quality regulations, including an understanding of Title V and PSD Permit programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in air emission calculations and reporting procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in the LNG or oil and gas sectors is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments with hot and humid conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
