Petroplan are supporting a national operator in Dubai for their search with an Administrative Assistant.

Job Purpose
Responsible to carry out a variety of administrative requirements of the assigned field. Responsible to coordinate with Roster and Time Sheet Processing (TSP) Clerk to produce accurate Persons On Board (POB) at all times and maintain personnel and training data offshore.

Key Accountabilities

  • Emergency Command Centre (ECC) function: Work closely with Roster Controller to help obtain a quick head count during fire/evacuation alarms. In the Command Centre, update ECC status board, ECC Roster and Skeleton Crew worksheets. Work as a back up to Roster Controller whenever there is shortage of staff. Update and upload necessary files in Livelink. Act as a backup to the Logistics Coordinator in the event of absence due to the Administrative Supervisor not being available in the ECC.
  • Participate in the department and area safety programmes to eliminate injuries and preserve company assets. Identify daily hazards and recommend or implement solutions to prevent recurrence by participating in Company safety programme and report all unsafe acts, behaviours and conditions.
  • Responsible for administrative functions such as: updating organisation chart, entering timesheets data in Oracle system, compiling daily, monthly and quarterly operating reports, handling mail, rotation schedules, controlling stationery stocks, scheduling and setting up equipment required for meetings, receiving and distributing airline tickets, liaising with Human Resources (HR). Liaise with immigration department for passports and visas renewals.
  • Responsible for Administrative Office filing system, Health Safety and Environment (HSE) training records and other records and reports.
  • Responsible for managing the use of the Personal Computers (PC) in the Internet Café and reporting any hardware/software problems to the IT Department.
  • Attend to all telephone calls and direct calls to respective persons.
  • Act as a scribe for Major equipment downtime meetings and update worksheets accordingly.
  • Responsible for training, guiding and motivating new employees hired due to vacancy created in the Administrative office.


Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Job Related Competencies
Educational Qualifications: Completion of High School education, a University degree is desirable
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in the area of administration.
Competencies/Skills/Others:

  • Excellent English Language verbal and oral skills
  • Computer Literate - thorough working knowledge of the entire MS Office suite
  • Good Planning and Organisation skills
  • Able to work under a stressful environment
  • Self Directed

Cyber Security Team Lead

Responsible to help define and ensure the effectiveness of the Information Security Management Systems.

Coordinate the Cyber Security Engineers in their projects and assignment work execution in accordance with the delivery schedule, contractual requirements, and critical path adhering to all policies and procedures.

Participate in Information Security related internal and external audits.

Define protocols and maturing of 'playbooks' for Operational response to cyber threats and events.

Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats and design security architecture elements and controls to mitigate threats as they emerge. Drive the implementation of emerging threat intelligence (IOCs), updated rules, etc.).

Work closely with the IT team and the business to ensure that Information Security is considered and involved in project planning and all data is classified according to their confidentialities and criticalities

Experience

5 - 10 year's work experience in Information Security implementation, management, monitoring, and audit.

Proven track-record of understanding security controls and working across the organisation to implement and validate controls.

Experience in coordinating small teams of engineers in their delivery of work on projects and assignments.

Experience in working in ICS, SCADA, and other Operational Technologies.

Oil and Gas Industry experience is preferred.

Education

Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Security / Information Management Systems or related field. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
Information Security and /or Information Technology industry certification (ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor) preferred.
Prince II or PMP preferred.
CompTIA Network , Security , SSCP, CISM, CISA or equivalent certifications held or working towards.

Additional Experience within the following would be ideal.

Penetration testing.
Application security.
Malware Reverse Engineering.
Threat Intelligence.
Security Architecture.
Industrial Control Systems Security.
Telecom and Network security.
System or Network administration in a complex multi-national network.
Working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or in a Computer Emergency Response Team

Senior Lifting Equipment Engineer

Petroplan are currently recruiting for a Senior Lifting Equipment Engineer to join a local operating company based in Dubai.

Job Purpose
Accountable for the safe operation of lifting equipment in Dubai Petroleum Establishment and Dubai Supply Authority.

Key Accountabilities:

  • The Senior Lifting Equipment Engineer will be appointed as the Technical Authority for all offshore and onshore lifting equipment. This includes cranes (pedestal, king post, rental and overhead type) and all other mechanical handling aids.
  • Point of contact for technical design queries and for coordinating access to further specialist engineering advice as and when required.
  • Supporting inspection, maintenance, defects and troubleshooting as required.
  • Regular review of Company's Lifting Operations Standards and update as required.
  • Build and maintain excellent client and vendor relationships and ensure that all service standards are met.
  • Act on behalf of the Company, making full use of lifting technical expertise, when required. Identify any possible lifting equipment improvement opportunities and advise on realization and implementation of those opportunities.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality control in line with continued Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Operations.
  • Manage the 'Offshore' Crane Replacement / Major Overhaul Projects end to end. This will include all aspects from preparation of a business case through to installation / commissioning.
  • Ensure that Load Radius Charts are updated and appropriate for individual cranes.
  • Review, modify and approve Lifting Plans prepared by rigging specialists and approve third party rigging plans for complex lifts. Plan and arrange all work related activities in a safe, effective, timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare dispensations to allow safe lifting of items that cannot be lifted under the usual Company lifting practices.
  • Identify and update safety critical elements associated with lifting equipment in conjunction with the Asset Integrity team.
  • Support activities related to Maintenance Strategy and Performance Standard, when required.
  • Travel offshore as and when the job requires including staying multiple days if operationally required.


Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Structural Engineering.

Experience Profile:

  • 10 years' experience of supporting crane operations and lifting equipment care within a Production and Maintenance Operation, preferable in an offshore or other remote location.
  • Extensive experience with offshore pedestal cranes is essential.
  • Experience in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) would be an advantage.
