Petroplan have partnered with a well-established, well-backed global business looking to enter the Solar Energy Market to identify a Business Development Manager based out of Dubai.

The role will require regular travel around the EMEA region.

Contract: Permanent
Location: Dubai
Salary: Competitive

About the Organisation:

Our Client are already well-known for finance and investment across the energy and construction industries and are looking to establish a presence within Solar Energy in the EMEA region.

You will play a key role in establishing and leading a small team to be based in Dubai overseeing projects for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Scout new markets, identify and develop new business opportunities, propose and execute market entry modes
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and engage with market participants
- Negotiate and close business deals
- Maintains extensive and up to date knowledge of market conditions
- Build key customer relationships
- Attend relevant industry events
- Report to Group's Senior Management

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical degree

- Technical knowledge of solar and the energy markets
- Up to date knowledge of latest technologies and industry standards
- Experience in solar EPC sector
- Ability to manage the entire project development process
- Strong understanding of commercial activities
- First-hand experience of business development and growing a team
- Excellent communication, presentation & networking skills
- Self-starter and Results-oriented
