Petroplan are currently seeking an experinced Gas Trader for a client in Germany.

Trader/Portfolio Management of Natural Gas
Your main tasks:
* Trading of spot and futures contracts in German natural gas markets
* Elaboration of trading strategies for the optimal management of our purchasing and sales portfolio
* Market analysis and energy data preparation
* Participation in the continuous further development of our portfolio management system
* Close cooperation with the areas of balancing group, energy data and forecast management
* 24/7 on-call service alternating with those responsible for balancing group management
* Experience with LNG experience desirable, but not essential
* Fluent English and German skills desirable

Your profile:

• You have a university of applied sciences degree or a university degree in the subject areas: Economics, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications in the energy industry
• Previous/current experience of trading gas in the German market
