JOB DESCRIPTION

HR Administrator - Guildford


We are looking for a HR Administrator to join our busy HR team here at Petroplan, to be based in our Guildford office. The position will report into the Global Head of HR and will provide administrative support for Petroplan's UK and other international offices.


This is a perfect role for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, a love of admin and processes and a real interest in HR. If you have a particular interest in Learning & Development, that would also be very beneficial.


You will have responsibility for:

  • Producing all employee standard correspondence
  • Ensuring the HR system is always up to date and accurate
  • Recording staff sickness
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Supporting the Global Head of HR in organising training courses
  • Drafting companywide communication documents
  • Manage the HR email account
  • Responding to reference requests for past employees.


Key attributes:

  • have some experience in an HR admin role
  • have an excellent eye for detail, good proof-reading skills and presentation and overall high work standards
  • have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise effectively
  • have excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Some recruitment experience would be preferable but not essential
