Our Client an EPC Company are looking for a Project Contracts Manager to be based in their offices in Kuwait. The role is offered with a long term contract, negotiable monthly salary, travel and accommodation provided along with other benefits.

Job Overview;

As Project Contracts Manager you'll be responsible for preparation of tender packages for Assigned Projects for the Client approval in Client's standard terms and conditions format and layout.

Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for raising requests of contract action once approved by the Client.
  • Monitors and reports the progress of the tender packages for assigned projects.
  • Assists the Client in conducting pre-tender meetings, site visits, replies to tenderers' queries, preparation of supplementary letters to the ITB, evaluation of tenders, recommendations of award, internal and external approvals for award recommendations, preparation of contract documentation for signature.
  • Provides close monitoring of construction activities of awarded contracts with reference to areas of possible claims, review of construction contractor correspondence with respect to contractual impact, production of recommended responses by the Client, evaluation of construction claims as well as other related activities enumerated in the contract.
  • Participates in Company strategic planning for specific projects, i.e., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, business plan.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of contract administration by the assigned Contract Administrators.
  • Coordinates with affected groups to ensure proper support in contract administration, proposal preparation, and in negotiations.
  • Reviews requests for proposals particularly to identify risks and terms which may not conform to Company policy.
  • Negotiates the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with client management.

Job requirements:

  • Must have a BA/BS in Business, Finance or related Subject
  • 15 years of effective post graduation total experience in contract administration within a large,international engineering firm is preferred.
  • 5 years of total minimum total post graduation experience in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical
  • 10 years of minimum experience as Contracts manager in an Engineering Company
  • Ideally qualified as a Certified Contracts Manager by any reputable professional association

Job Description

On behalf of An Oil and Gas PMC company Petroplan are looking for a Remediation Specialist on an annual renewable contract it will be a residential single status position based in Kuwait

Requirements:

Shall have experience in managing remediation technologies for oil contaminated soil. Should be familiar with the necessary engineering and organizational controls required to prevent damage to the environment. Should have experience in environmental issues in design, construction or operation of landfill installations, including handling permits for plants, utilities, water treatment, wastewater treatment, petrochemicals, oilfield production and related hazardous disposals. Shall be capable of assisting / preparing Environmental Impact Assessment, conceptual site Modelling, Environmental Control for projects and ensure compliance during all stages of the Project.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 10 years' experience.

Bachelors of science Environmental Engineering degree is mandatory.

Minimum of 5 years' experience working in related designation.

On behalf of An Oil and Gas PMC company Petroplan are looking for a Lead Contract Engineer on an annual renewable contract it will be a residential single status office based position.

Requirements:

Responsible for pre-award activities including bid preparation, processing queries from bidders from bidders, preparation of bid evaluation programmes, evaluation of bids, negotiation and award and Contract preparation. Responsible for all post-award activities including Contract Administration, preparation and processing of Adjustment Orders, claims and close out. Experienced in developing Contract strategy and Contract enhancement procedures. Must have membership of any reputable professional association.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 10 years' experience working in Contracts roles.

Bachelors of science engineering degree is mandatory.

Minimum of 5 years' experience working in related designation on oil and gas projects.
