Serve as a resident company Electrical Subject Matter Expert, providing advice and guidance on Electrical system engineering issues.
Develop electrical system packages and databases consisting of all relevant drawings, spreadsheets, relay files, manuals pertaining to each system.
Perform troubleshooting activities to identify faults within the electrical system
Provide day-to-day Electrical systems support to the Maintenance & Operations teams to ensure continued operability of plant equipment.
Providing advanced diagnostic support, to allow rapid production recovery, in the event of equipment failure and forced plant outages.
Provide Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) leadership during RCFA exercises and provide technical summaries (with causes and recommendations) to concerned parties.
Provide support to the Maintenance team for Turnaround planning and execution.
Supports availability tracking and improving the overall reliability for plant equipment and Responsible for evaluating the workflow process, identification of critical spares, spare parts storage and preservation requirements for Electrical systems throughout the plant.

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
A Professional Engineering License is desired.

five to ten (5-10) years experience working in a senior engineering capacity, with Electrical equipment in an industrial setting in engineering, commissioning or operations
Oil and Gas/Power Generation experience is required, with preference in LNG applications, and other hydrocarbon processing experience will be acceptable.
Detailed knowledge and hands on experience of Switchgears, MCC's, UPS & DC Systems, Motors and Generators is required
Knowledge and hands on experience of Electrical Testing and Troubleshooting equipment such as Meters, Hipot, Low Ohm Resistance machines etc.
Knowledge of relay settings and ability to upload/download settings & event files

Experience with large (>10MW) Medium Voltage VFD Drives and Synchronous Motors
Experience with High Voltage (>100kV) Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
Experience with Energy Management Systems including functionality for SCADA, Load Sharing and Load Shedding Systems
Knowledge of Smart Motor Controllers for LV MCCs and LV VFDs
